Love that exhaust! I owned a 89' GTU version 5spd white & boy how i used to love revving it up to hear that dohc tuned port engine sound back then! These were faster than most ppl thought!
I had the 2.8 in my first one, also an '89, loved that car! This car is currently a 3500 with a different setup, I do have a video on here if that as well!

@08IS350 I had one. 89 GT with an Eibach kit, 17's and a new paint job with new window tint, alot of motor work for the 2.8L v6. I had it stroked with tuned ECU, ect...... and I got Tboned at 55 MPH by a ford Windstar day after I graduated. Body kit was still on the garage floor.....I miss it. They have alot of potential.
My wife had a 94 with the 3100. I opened the air box and put in a K&N installed a Borla Muffler and the GT wing. Was a bad ass car. It was pretty quick for what it was. Always beat the real GT cars.
Yess, i'll use Flowmaster Muffler on my Sunbird GT, once I swap my 3.8 Supercharged, I have a Dual Muffler System stock, so i'll run my 3inch Exhaust system and put 2 Flowmaster 40 Serie's on each side with 2 Chrome 45° Angle Tip's ! Shall be good ! Keep your Beretta Clean they are rarer !
That sounds wonderful. I had a 90GT tho not long enough to do anything with before it got totaled. At times I think of looking for another one. Granted this was in 95. LOL I did love that car tho.
On a Z34 it may not sound bad, but personally I would run a Magnaflow on one of those! And yes, the visor on the rear window is called a Solarwing, they have been discontinued but some are still floating around the web.
@greatwhitejake I averaged 29.5 on the highway doing 75 - 80 on a trip from Columbus in mine. That was with NGK platinum plugs, Taylor 8.2mm wires, MSD coil-packs, a homemade intake, synthetic motor oil, and the forementioned exhaust. And this was at about 160k on the clock. My advice? Run a good set of plugs and wires, a good intake / exhaust setup, and run synthetic.
@RamRodRacer They are definately good for snow drifting! The car does have some balls now though, I did a cammed 3400 swap on it over the summer. Still no video up yet however.
I got a 95 beretta with 138k miles on it, I got it for graduating and fell in love with the car, I'm now trying to get the fiberglass body kit (lighter which equals more savings on gas) and a deep throaty rumble, like the Mustang, or like this car, where can I find this at? I've also got another surprise coming soon. Lol

@guitar1094 I ran full 2.5" piping when I had the exhaust done. The muffler you want is the same one that's in my video too. Do yourself a favor and if you have a shop put it on, have them remove the resonator too. You'll get better sound out of it.
Thanks everybody! I currently am running a magnaflow since I did the built 3400 swap, but I plan on switching it over to another chambered muffler, however it'll be a Hooker Aerochamber this time. I do have a video with the current setup on my page as well, if you'd like a comparison between the two engines and exhaust setups.
@rgrafton just go with a magnaflow or a dynomax since you have the four cylinder, otherwise it'll sound rather awful. with the four's you don't want a lot of noise just a good tone.
Unfortunately the wings are discontinued, you might get lucky and find them on eBay at some point however. They're called "Solar Wings" if this helps any!

JJ, I picked up the clear side markers off of a forum member on bstuff.com, but you can also pick these up on Ebay. As for color choices, it's hard to say, it really depends on the interior color and what all else is done to the car. And Mario, the coil packs ran me about $40 apiece. Since this video I have installed a cammed 3400 that's bored .040 over, with numerous modifications. When I can get the chance to get my hands on a better video camera, I'll be sure to get a video posted.

Would love to have my beretta still I had a 94 base 3100 red I was into the car had put z26 kit on it from a dead retta at jy and would had liked to swapped to 3400 but was young at that time one day coming back home from a trip to Miami with some buddies after chasing some females lol well forgot to check on oil and what not well I think you can guess the rest. But now if I can snag one up I would hopefully sooner than later some people that get these cars just don't care and beat them bad.

MurphSexy86 nice I had two berettas 92 and a 95 both maroon one had a 3.1 other 2.2. Both are gone. One was lost to an accident not my fault other I had traded in. Know years later an few cars later I have a ninja650. I miss those cars. One name that sticks in my mind is a guy named Canada he had a white beretta and swapped in a 3400. I didn’t know him but I remember him.

@project1996z26 I'd just drop in a 3800 the same year of ur car cuz the 3800 will bolt right up to the 3100 trans so all u got to do is change the computer and the motor thats it i was going to but i wound up selling mine

Just inherited a 1994 Baretta 3.1 with 17K miles. Hope to get it running next summer. My dad bought it, and garaged it. Looks brand new.

60 degree V6 buddy, indestructible, just make sure you don’t overheat it
I replaced head gaskets twice on my Beretta. Those aluminum heads would spring leaks on head gaskets anytime the temp hit redline.
People didn’t know to wire your fans to a toggle switch, 40 below, and 175 thermostat no more heating problems.

This muffler is long since gone, went to a Magnaflow most recently, but the Flowmaster part number you'll need is 942547.
headers will clean that up a lot.. :P

What was different between the earlier 3.1 and the later 3100?
3100 had Sequential Fuel Injection, compression for 3100 9:5:1 to name 2 differences

@@kenshin034 yep they're deeper and not as raspy, if that's what you're looking for. 40's are throatier and raspier so they'll be louder than a 44.
