Leave a "like" if you want to see more! What should be next?
Blade Runner
If they put the video at 2x speed, everything would move normally like in real movies.
Jurassic Park
you should plug this into sora when it goes public
Yes please! The Matrix and Inception are 2 of my favorites. My mother once told me: "Why are movies today so DARK? I had a hard time explaining what I love about gritty, dark, intellectual, or dystopian movies as a GenXer. She liked romcoms, I like scifi/fantasy. I'm thinking Witcher or Dune or GOT or Batman but also many other lesser known films.
Audrey Hepburn as Trinity is something i never knew i wanted but now badly desires it
I hope ai would get to that point soon..
Looking good !
Those 50s, 60s actresses really look nicer than almost anyone after them.
I always thought Audrey Hepburn looked a lot like ziva from NCIS
Yeah that was scary beautiful when she looked to the side wow the AI did good there
Clint Eastwood should be Neo. "Go ahead, agent Smith, make my day."
nah, charles bronson
Ewan McGregor: Only a Smith deals in absolutes.
Eastwood should be Agent Smith.
Clint should be Agent Smith
That would be awesome.
Audrey Hepburn and Sydney Poitier, yet Keanu is still Neo
😂😂😂
Well done- that one was great’!
Peter sellers as neo please
audio said "Keanu [..] get it, he is immortal"
Keanu doesn't age.
Because Keanu has been around for centuries so its a perfect role for him even in the 50s
the slight nod to Keanu Reeves being immortal was the best part hahahaha
Didn't need explaning thought I think. Those that know and all that lol
Apart from it not being slight.
They literally say he's immortal
I don't think that means what you think it means
stupid
The vertical type-writing is a nice touch. . .
Surely James Dean should have been Neo 🕶
Treal!!!
Surely not, a bit overrated really. A 50s icon for sure, but that was all down to the publicity machine, media and public mood etc
This was probably after his death.
“Don’t call me Shirley.”- James Dean
Thought about that but James Mason or Glenn Ford would have worked as well.
This could easily be the dream world in the Matrix. Neo is about to get major whiplash as he gets flung from the 1950s to a cyberpunk future.
Brilliant casting, well done.
And Keanu Reeves is the only active one then and still now.
Thank AI, i think it did all of it, even the writing
That’s a cool concept, futuristic 1950s style matrix! Sign me up.
A real 1950's sci-fi trailer wouldn't have big band music. But it would have titles flashing the screen like "A Tale That Make You Question Reality!"
Meanwhile the AI: Oh so, that is how I can evolve and use humanity as a power source??? Thank for the tip! :D
Anybody else notice how more effort goes into these teasers and trailers than any Hollywood feature film in the last 3 years?😊
Still look like awful IA...
@@tiamaohi Yet it had so much more attraction power behind it. Even despite the bad AI CGI, I still want to see it. To be fair, it's because of the bad 50s interpretation of what Sci-Fi looks like, that makes me want to see it.
"Get it - he's immortal." LOL
Hepburn as "Trinity"...that's genius casting...should've had Woody Strode I think you called him...he was in lots of Westerns and was in Spartacus with Kirk Douglas...he'd have done a more imposing "Morpheus". I think Brando would've been menacing as "Agent Smith". Maybe take a look at Jeffrey Hunter (Captain Pike from Star Trek original pilot) for Neo's role. Certainly this trailer makes you think who would've been good for the roles from the Fifties era.
This is awesome, thank you so much for even thinking about it let alone making it. You're made my day with this gem
Never knew I'd see Audrey Hepburn as Trinity
Audrey Hepburn primarily did screwball rom-coms in the 50s, but if The Matrix was made in the 1950s IMO with Audrey Hepburn as Trinity, people may have had mixed reactions to her casting.
This would have raised the bar. What a fantastic idea. I always thought steampunk matrix would be better.
I think Leonard Nimoy would've made a good Neo in the 1950's.
With William Shanter as Morpheus? And Michelle Nicholls as Trinity?
jeez louise, the creatures in this one are amazing!
if your looking for ideas, I want to see Transformers in the 1950s or as a tokusatsu!
@@drewsandoval *you're
@@mungofinalfi4480 hahaha! Thank you, kind sir!
proof keanu reeves is immortal 😬
Some scenes are really creepy. I really don't like this AI thing 😂
The human creations/design are terrible but everything else is wonderfully constructed.
Orson Wells as the Architect
From an alternate reality.
"It'th inevitabubble, Mithter Anderthun."
Why did I've read it as Daffy Duck talking?
0:20 This shot looks amazing!
it's a shot from the forgotten 1950 motion picture "Dr. Starnge"
Organic sentinel?
I love that hes all hunched over his typewriter like he’s on the internet
Audrey Hepburn as Trinity
@0:09 the voiceover fits perfectly with the scene in the video. "Little does he know his entire existence is a mere illusion." This, while he types on a typewriter with no paper on the platen, but the paper is positioned behind the platen with words going vertically down the paper. His typewriter is a mere illusion, a different version of our reality. Brilliant.
Or the AI doesn't really know what's the diference between a computer, a printer and a typewriter.
@@RM6737 Sorry but it's obviously done on purpose!
@@quaternion lolno
I nearly forgot this classic which predicted breakdancing 20 years ahead. Keanu Reeves is truly one of a kind.
Would love to see that movie, definitely worthy of a remake!
This film has actually been made. It's called "Welt am Draht" by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, West-Germany 1973.
I'll check it out!
Johnny Mnemonic, you may enter the next room, everybody else keep sitting until your pattern recognition gets more accustomed.
What if we traveled back in time and brought The Matrix for people to watch in the theatres? Do you think they would leave mid-film in fear?
What movies do you think would cause complete chaos?
Alien
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
@@David-dc3nk ET
Great and fabulous 😊
Man, that image at 0:37, incredible
If this was for real during the 1950s, IMO it would have been very hard to find someone to choregraph the fight scenes let alone convince any studio to give this a greenlight.
I like the fact it has vinyl surface noise that doesn't belong there.
lol thats what 50s movies had
Movie trailers from that era would include:
GIANT HANDWRITTEN TEXT!
scribbled across the screen, and then intermittently wiped away for some
MORE TEXT TO APPEAR!
like so^.
Either way, this is fascinating.
Amazing how content creation has become context creation. Creativity now has a Z axis.
Wow. Keanu Reeves really is irreplaceable. Even in the past.
Love Hepburn as Trinity. Poitier would have been a great Morpheus.
But the only way to explain this one is that it was produced IN The Matrix.
Oh God--it was. Wasn't it.
Audrey Hepburn, Sidney Poitier and prime Marlon Brando all in the same movie? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! 🤑
I never was overly fond of the Matrix series of movies (I know, my friends think I'm daft) but this version I'm sure I'd enjoy! 😊
Every time when I see abnormal human forms from AI, my brain hurts.
Mention of the incomprobable Mr Sydney Poitier got me laughing!😂😂🤣🤣
A matrix movie in that era could actually be cool asf. Like the construct of the 1950s and apple pie and baseball and pot roast and surburbia, but it's all a very elaborate lie.
While computers may not have been mainstream to the public, they were already invented so they could fit that in somehow. I'm not a writer, but it'd be interesting is all I'm saying!
These are the remakes we need
The only thing that didn't make sense is you cast act as appropriate for the time frame except Keanu Reeves James Dean would have been the obvious choice.
This artstyle looks by far better than what you get in the movies today
They should have had a little scene where the agents were shooting at Neo with Thompson "Tommy Gun" submachine guns!
Brandon Lee had to be put in place of Keanu Reeves! He would have gotten the role!
Wow incredible video, how do you make the voices rise from that time and with what effect?
Thanks! I've been using Elevenlabs for these. I'll mess around with the parameters and text inputs until they sound how I want, then chop off the higher frequencies in my editing software to get it sounding like an old recording.
@@DogPeopleProductions Hey, if they put the video at 2x speed, everything would move normally like in real movies.
It's even better, than original screenplay: the Matrix 50-60's vs XXIII century of reality😀 Awesome!!!
Typical AI/dream interpretation at :33: I love how unnatural it looks and how it naturally and organically fits in with this entire video.. Now I have to go back and notice more details. Love this, on so many levels!
I tried to pack a lot of stuff in there. Glad you dig it!
The esthetic of it is remarkable!
Amazing Cast! I love it. Keep it up! Can we please get Heat? I'd love to see that!
John Wick starring James Dean or a young Clint Eastwood.
Audrey Hepburn in the original movie would have been a blast.
Me: They’d better cast Sidney Poitier as Morpheus …
(Pause)
They call me MISTER Morpheus!
Just a bunch of crappy wiggling ai images strung together.
Rod Serling would’ve loved the matrix
This would have been a great Twilight Zone episode.
Clint Eastward should have been Neo.
“Go ahead, Agent Smith my day”
Can't wait to see how Neo dodges bullets in 1950
I’d definitely watch this version
"Get it? He's immortal" 😂. Yes. Yes, I suppose he would have to be to have starred along side Audrey Hepburn and still look so young after looking the same age 70 years ago.😅
Er… silly question, but would the Matrix still be the Matrix without those iconic mobile phones?
The nearest thing to a mobile phone in the 1950’s was a 2 way radio.
I enjoyed and really appreciate so many things about this trailer concept! But it reminded me of 2 things... 1st ,Johnny Depp Working with Marlon Brando several times was awesome But it would been really cool to see people like Keanu reeves and tom hardy work with marlin Brando as well!!! Also, see the comment below mine About James dean !
I actually laughed out loud with Keanu still playing Neo
This is copy & paste from the real Matrix movie. 😮
Marlon Brando as agent Smith is all wrong, I could see Kirk Douglas or James Mason in that roll and Gregory Peck would be a good choice for Neo if you were going to stick with an all 50s cast.
Good call. I recently watched The Vikings, and Kirk's characters' obsession with bringing down Tony Curtis' character, is very much in keeping with Agent Smith. And yes, Peck as Neo, right on the money 🙂
not what we wanted.. but thankful for what we got.
I assume the irony of using AI to spoof "The Matrix,," a film about AI taking over the world is kick-you-in-the-face clear.
when I first saw Keanu I was like "haha, he's immortal" 😂
Ai knows Keanu has lived over 200 years
AI videos look like fever dreams for real.
Если 50-ые то тогда только Одри Хепбёрн))
Cary Grant as Agent Smith
Jimmy Stewart would’ve made a great Neo, the man had such great range if you saw him in Mr smith goes to Washington or it’s a wonderful life .
PERFECT CHOICE FOR TRINITY!
Short brought me to the original upload because of wanting to see it widescreen.
It's wrong of YT to push shorts but not normal videos that we want to see!
This is the one... Once you learn how to write your own code, you're the woman in the red dress...
Brandon was still a smoke show in 50's. You've got him looking like 70's Godfather Brando
Well done! Keep it going….❤
Not gonna lie, this would be an interesting concept if the matrix was set in a period of time with virtually no technology yet it is revealed that the matrix was there all along and it was just waiting for the first person to come online.
Quite the contrivance these fake 1950's movie trailers. But take a good listen to the music. Like looking at a distant landscape through a high-powered telescope (not one for astronomy, but earthly observations), it is easy to mistake, say, a mountain to be really close to another mountain or landmark.
The analogy? Like the visual compression of distance a telescope or binoculars make, we have a kind of compression of time and the related musical and movie production values and style.
This is closer to 1910's, '20's or even '30's music. Take a listen for example, to music used for The Robe or any '50's Alfred Hitchcock movie.
Or try looking up the intro to The Blob (1958 ) - music actually written by Burt Bacharach who also wrote many songs sung by such as Dion Warwick, Herb Alpert or The Carpenters. A little fine tuning here in terms of genre.
The '50's actually had stereo. Not everywhere. Not everyone, but some places. Maybe a touch less scratchy. Not CD quality, but fidelity was getting a bit better.
Overall, though, these fake trailers are enjoyable. Choice of actors is spot on. Including Keanu Reeves make the 20's music more forgivable, since this trailer reaches both forwards AND backwards. One could say the music is immortal, also.
I expect a lot of punch cards in this movie. Maybe death by a thousand paper cuts?
Hi, i dreamt about Robert de Niro being Serval, Tom Cruise being Cyclope, Arnold Swharzenneger being colossus
0:42 дизайн у роботов прикольный :)
Analog matrix
😱 this is so insane
Realistically, they'd probably have Charlton Heston or Clark Gable as Neo. If you're going to put Audrey Hepburn, Marlon Brando and Sidney Poitier in your movie, you're obviously only interested in featuring the biggest stars.
Paul Newman as Neo after the first rooftop bullet-time shootout, while dusting off his coat and putting his hat back on: "F0r a M0meNt ThErE I tHoUghT I wAs iN tROuBlE"
James Mason should have been agent smith and Montgomery Clift as neo.
I wish they would do a live-action Johnny Quest with AI. A young Leonardo DiCaprio as Johnny, Harrison Ford is Dr Quest. And Mark Harmon with his silver hair as a race Bannon. I'm still not sure on who would make a good Higi.
Immortal Keanu reference check
Взгляд, как у акул. ИИ, а ты хорош...
Trenchcoat should've been tanned leather, not black synthetic. Maybe have him wearing a fedora. Think Vault Tek Salesman. lol
Hey how about Battlestar Galactica!!!! 1970’s version not newer crap!!
Nice, even though i would've chosen for the role of Neo a 40s actor, too.
Crazy how what's happening today is so similar to the Matrix.
AI, I need you to draw Neo.
*draws John Wick
Just... at least do a younger John Wick.
