I'd reset the game 3 or 4 times everytime I played the game just to hear this song.. came out when I was 10.. Going on 38 now in 2024 and I had one of those core memory moments.. so glad it was here, thank you.
@@marditandra5940 Up until final fantasy X I didn't know any final fantasy existed and they never felt like a jrpg to me. It felt more like an attempt to bridge internationally, Kingdom Hearts proved my assumption and justified my feeling. Are Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts a jrpg? Yes, technically. Are they fully 100% Japanese? No. Absolutely not. Why are Super Metroid and Wild Arms -one set in space and the other in a west so resembling American epics - feel so Japanese? I do not know. If you don't have the same feelings you are probably not human, maybe you are American. Which is pretty much the same thing.
@@sardinhunt That's the magic of JRPG. Wild Arms is still my favorite. the 1st (including Alter Code F), 2nd Ignition, Advanced 3rd, and 5th Vanguard are great games. 4th Detonator on the other hand, missed the world exploration element, which is kind of disappointing. Speaking of FF X, the story is very awesome, but too much for me to comprehend when I was a kid. The Yevon religion is one of the coolest aspect of X. The depth the story had to offer, which I think can be explored even further. Wish SE also focus more on other FF installments aside from the VIIth.
Michiko Naruke create emocional songs based on Western, Medieval and futurist themes in Wild Arms atmosphera... This game is fabulous and the composer a Genius!!! This legacy wil not die!! Just Play!!!!!!
I was looking for this song for 8 years! The only thing I had was a record in old mobile phone. Found it thanks to YT community in 2016. Never gonna forget that evening or this song.
Lufia games can be hard and this day of age boring well except 2 it isnt bad looking as for puzzles its some a bit harder and even to Wild Arms, Lufia 2 is actually the prequel of Lufia 1 with Maxim parents being the lead. story wise i like it better than Lufia 1.
Oh, so that's the origin... I listened to this many times on "Infinite Bit Radio" like 12 years ago. I guess playing the game on PS Plus might feel way more nostalgic than I had assumed. ^^
It's still the best wild arms game in my opinion. Only polygone and bitmap graphic fit wild arms, not 3D! The game has an awesome soundtrack, atmosphere and gameplay full of secrets. I enjoyed to look after the secret aRMS, to defeat them and get the best equip for my characters. Or to fight rare mobs, just like the aliens on the lonely isle in the south, to get max. exp points and duplicators...... Do you remember them? Such wonderful memories! Into the wilderness is one of the greatest tracks ever! Thank you for the upload!
There are a tonne of super underrated RPGs out there, but my favourite will these. Phantasy Star The Legend of Dragoon Breath of Fire Skies of Arcadia And of course, Wild Arms.

My uncle whistled this song for the album recording 25 years ago, and here I am listening to his lips once again today
I still whistle this song. After all these years.
I've been trying to for a while now but I can never get the timber/vibrato right
Same here :D
All the time
tfw can't whistle
One of the best Sound Tracks. And a beautifully presented game all round.
I get choked up every single time. This song and game brings back a flood of good memories.
Still listening to this in 2023
One of the greatest music compositions in gaming history
Still listening to this in 2023! Gives me the chills and takes me back to happy days.
@@Kamahaku Indeed.
John oeth Guitar just released a video doing a cover of this. You should give it a listen. It is pretty crazy to see the fingerstyle.
Agree
2024
most underated JRPG ever
Yep, sadly because it is overshadowed by FFVII.
They were released on the same year, if I'm not mistaken.
yep it got overlooked i'm glad i own all the main ps1 and ps2 wild arms games
wild west jrpg the music hits the soul

@@williamferreira20 This game's 24 years old now and the music is still in my mind
@@alphanum001 great is in my mind too i was search for this
Probably the best intro song and animation ever made. I would play the game and never skip the intro animation.
You and me both brother.
I've only started playing this game and I already love it.

Legendary song
Western, Medieval and Futurist?
I more saw this as Fantasy, Western and Steampunk myself.
Game and song are still fucking awesome though.

Never played this game but I've been coming back to this track for years
It fit the game perfectly. If you get the chance at least try for an hour or so. You'll be mind boggled.
Do it

Good games never die.
Best .. ever, i got the chills remembering it today after i dont know.. 20 years or more after I first played it..
The Feels, awesome childhood thanks to this game
Aim crying 😭
Greatest video game theme song? None has stayed with me for as long, except maybe Snake's theme (MGS1) or the Zelda theme...
José F. Vargas Casadiego my thoughts exactly
Not even Pokemon?
Panzer Dragoon
still enjoying this song after all these years...
Every day I sat down to play a session of Wild ARMs, I always watched the intro video during the beginning of that session because of this song
best game ever I still own my copy this day still works
Absolutely, I remember playing this right after Final Fantasy 7 and being satisfied that I didn't waste my time.
i personally think Lufia II is still a bit better than this... still played both :)
I have never played Lufia 2. I heard it was a great game. I got pretty far in Lufia 1 but never finished it.

1 of the best opening song of any game
I'd forgotten the hope that rises in me when I hear this tune. I never played the second or third games, but I might as well try now.
Funny how it rock me for 20 years...
Wanna go watch some Serge Leone films now

I have no idea how he managed to get his whistle pitch that high. There's a certain note I just can't get past.
it looks like rare music from the film the good the bad and the ugly
Is there such a thing as 'Professional Whistling'? Because y'know, if there is, I'll pucker up!
Best game in his era
This and Chrono Cross intro...
Хех, узнал про этому песню на концерте «Симфония Аниме» в Братске.
Шикарно её у нас исполнили, даже лучше оригинальной, у нас-то японец свистел!
Everyone hyped for Armed Fantasia? I am!
Si en todo este tiempooo
When I first heard Lost Saga's Wild West OST, my mind instantly associates it with this game's lol
