- So I heard that you guys like Wild Arms?
I absolutely love this song among other themes from this game. I will definitely do more Wild Arms themes, since there seems to be lots of people who like the series. Being the intro to the first game, I thought it would be appropriate to start with this song!

I will keep coming back to this every so often. I was surprised about this cover though. Went to heavy rock vibes towards the climax but lovingly went back to the subdued mood at the end. Absolutely love this take!
What a fantastic rendition. If you're American, then this has beautifully come full circle. To know that this is a cover of a Japanese interpretation of an Italian/Spaghetti Western interpretation of the American Wild West just goes to show that music is the unifier of all cultures, no matter where we're from.
I still come back to listen to this on repeat. You deserve more recognition. This video totally captures the vibe of the song
Some of us are lucky enough to have played this game... it helped me through some shit and this is BRILLIANT!
My first console ever was the PlayStation one classic and this game was on here and it was fine. The intro hit me so hard.
To this day this is still one of the best video intros to a video game. It sets the tone perfectly and fills you with this wistful wonder at what the game has in store for you.

This video is about 5 millions views short. I've seen many covers of this song and some suck, some capture the essence but this is the first to take the original and make it into something more. Great work and how it's flying under the youtube radar is beyond me.

+BoondockRoberts This comment is a tad late, but I suppose that the game was not really all that popular, at least in the U.S. I, personally, like the game, but I'm surprised it even has as many views as it does. I do agree that this is an absolutely amazing cover. It emulates the whistle sound much better than normal technique or most other instruments could.
+megaman02468 I may be wrong about its popularity. I don't know anybody else in my area that's ever heard of the game though, and several of my friends find some awfully obscure games.

I have been on a nostalgia trip over the past few days and have been listening to this song (the original version on a different channel) over and over while whistling along at work. I stumbled upon this rendition, and I have to say, the electric guitar portion 2/3 of the way in, where it takes prominence, is fantastic and really adds a lot of power to the song. I have been putting this version on more and more, whistling along where appropriate, then letting the electric guitar take over for that bit and just head banging along 😊. Awesome work dude, covering a song well from a cherished video game from my childhood. Salute 🫡.

I know i commented a while ago on this video but i cannot get enough of this song . the wild hearts theme stuck deep in my heart the very first time i turned the game on back in 1996 i was 13 and since then being 34 now i have played through the game over 100 times and the song never gets old and never will its engraved into my soul for the rest of my life . thank you for amping up an already beautiful song .

Sorely under-rated game, and probably one of the best I ever played for the PSX. The music, the story, the gameplay, the characters...it was all incredible, and your rendition left me with chills, my friend! Top notch!

well most of his good points came from his characters because each stories parts are based on them! cecilia made the "begining", jack is next and rudy made the ending, only 3 characters made that none was "useless" and it's one of the biggest strength of the first "wild arms"!
Nothing like rolling up to a new town, finding a new weapons vendor that has new stuff for the whole gang! Cecilia cast Spirit bomb on all!
I'm kind of sad that I just found this, but this is GORGEOUS. I've always loved the theme, and didn't expect this cover to be such an improvement on the original!

My first girlfriend, her dad introduced this game to me. Unfortunately, I spent more time with the game than the girl. I didn't know how to BE a boyfriend and regret that to this day, but love her all the more for bringing this series to me.
