Don’t you think population reports are very off on some of these cards? Especially very popular cards. I know from just myself I buy a lot of psa9 to break out to re-grade. After decades go by of people doing this, there must be a huge difference in numbers by thousands and on some cards probably tens of thousands. There is no way to know that all of those cards on the pop report are still in existence. On most of these 1 card probably was graded 10 times if it was close to a PS10. Too bad they can’t fix that because it screws up the market and prices.
I agree with your statement 110% calling a spade a spade ! They surely had quality control inspecting their damn cards after printing off of press !! What Topps produced with a million Griffey Jr. Cards = First Counts A Bitch not caring about their collectors cash spent for value I give Upper Deck 5 Star grade with much better finished product than Topps ,You would have to be blind not comparing their differences .How Topps dominated Upper Deck for a measurable amount of time is a TOTQL mystery in the same comparison of why a Randy Moss score Rookie card = 20 Dollars That's why my entire collection being sold in next couple weeks moving strictly into old coins ,collectable vinyl albums ,firearms ,and antique furniture Junk wax era truly kicks collectors ass and so you need to get a bigger truck with much more cash to sign up for the card breaks blowing excess cash trying to hit a 200 red circled area of a bullseye I pass ,there are better options
I have several but to pay $25 dollars to get it graded and the chance of getting a ten grad is like one in a thousand tops. I really hate the grading system. Before I joined the army in 87 I sold a bunch of cards and made out. I bet I’d never get a fair price today on them. I made like $1000 back then. But today they’re so picky it’s ridiculous!
I loved this video again the second time around. Surprised to see no early Griffey Jr Star Company cards. They are licensed and the early ones are fairly to very rare
Great video Matt! Fun fact, I'm pretty sure that 89 fleer glossy was the set that came in the tin that buzz had high on his shelf in home alone that kevin got his money out of in the scene where he knocked the shelves down.
Actually looked through my old Ken Griffey Jr collection my wife found and have the last one to my surprise (Bowman). Couple of soft corners, but in good condition for the most part. Is there anyway to restore the card even more, so it can grade as high as possible?
Hopefully not pugeon holing you into this content but I love it. Maybe you can look into Star Company Griffey Jr cards. There are some very rare early ones that are still reasonable and now that PSA has reverted to grading Star Company...
I have 3 unopened sets of the 1st minor league sets 4 unopened packs of the last 2 sets 1 platinum I wish that I still had all my cards that were stolen.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR That's where my Ken Griffey Jr's prototypes and candy bars I had dozens of unopened minor league sets 1947 minor league sets with Jackie Robinson 1939 Clippers Joe Dimagio
The Upper Deck and Donruss are the toughest at about 4% of total submissions getting a PSA 10. Of those, I wonder which are pack pulled and which are from factory sets. The latter have somewhat rounded corners.
I hope this [1989 Topps Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie Card Gem Mint 10-non tiffany] becomes the first MLB Card to reach over a $100 million dollars like just about everywhere[less than 14,000 graded a 10 which is spectacular]!!!!!
Just picked up my 89 bowman Tiffany psa 9 for a smooth 1k. Never to see light again. Well, Until I’m 65. Let a Ken jr Netflix documentary drop one day. Moon
I have a stack of Griffen jr cards I've saved since childhood looks like I should sell them. I have a bunch you did not show case like mother's cookies cards minor league cards aswell
The "pops" are ridiculous... I've gotta '89 FLEER! KGJ Sport Fusion RC Game-Ussd Patch card. "Beta Collectors" tend to shy away from this product (don't know why) They do not have to be graded.. They come with a QR code that when scanned..Gives you a little backstory along with a...guarantee of the authenticity...of the actual game worn associated material! Not this "relic" that is not associated with any particular game garbage.. The beuty about these is that the population is unknown.. I don't need to pay someone to give me their "opinion" about a baseball card. Until PSA starts using A.I...That is all it is... Someone's "opinion"..There is no consistency. Especially if "said" grader owns the card that is being graded... They will "tweak" the grade...in attempt to keep the population down! I apologize for the diatribe.. but.. Keep your money and #KEEPITRAW
Wow talk about degrading a players card ,Topps surely flooded the market with so many damn Griffey Jr cards to lower his cards prices with ridiculous counts ! Mike Schmidt cards in high grade earlier years 74 & 75 years not priced with true values ,and Larry Bird Topps cards not true value and a Randy Moss score rookie card with 17 damn touchdowns as a rookie in NFL History not much value ! This is exactly why I'm selling my entire collection this coming week before economy drops which inevitably will make the card market drop like a rock ; These Bryce Harper and Mike Trout high maximum voltage price compared to 10 gold gloves ,549 career home runs ,most rbi"s by all 3rd basemen 13 time all star = GOAT 3rd basemen in the history of the game .He never messed with the juice on top of all of this as Griffey Jr never touched PEDS either . Cooperstown bases HOF on stats alone getting into their doors however these crazy ass indifferences in card values are driven by the young generation . Do they even know who Mike Schmidt ,Eddie Murray, Larry Bird,or Randy Moss were with identity .17 touchdowns for a rookie is best ever before and after NFL and AFL merged . I've got a Jerome Bettis rookie card barely worth more than toilet paper to wipe after I take a good shit !! It's ridiculous how Topps abused printing so damn many Griffey Jr cards in astronomical numbers ;! FIRST COUNT IS A BITCH and Topps card producing in late 60"s to late 70's = Horrible without anything called Iso 9000 ,quality control and cards off centered ,top -bottom errors side to side Here's real asw kicker with obverse in pristine condition and flipping to reverse off the mark by large margin

Just FYI, you have not put the good pop report graphic while presenting the Topps Tiffany. You present Johnny Bench pop report.
What you mean?
You see the Bench pop report at 8:09
I loved this video again the second time around. Surprised to see no early Griffey Jr Star Company cards. They are licensed and the early ones are fairly to very rare

I didn't realize his cards are this cheap...very surprised
What about 1989 baseball card magazine. Ken griffey jr rookie card.
The Upper Deck and Donruss are the toughest at about 4% of total submissions getting a PSA 10. Of those, I wonder which are pack pulled and which are from factory sets. The latter have somewhat rounded corners.
The Upper Deck is definitely pop controlled by PSA.
Thanks 🙏 a lot for all your knowledge and information!
Always welcome, more to come 🙏🏻
Of course you gotta buy the expensive glossy set, traded set, tiffany sets, etc etc. Cause just regular topps, donruss, etc are never good enough

From what sport and you need to post those all on IG. That would go wildly viral unless they are the 2013 Retro versions.
What do you need help with?
