    Very good comparison review of three bikes. Proud owner of latest model KSL & Turbo Levo and as you reported, which bike I take depends on how much tough climbing and DH riding the trail has.

      Thank you!
      What a luxury to have both bikes, solves a lot of problems. 😉

    Excellent presentation, it helped a lot for me, a levo SL owner, looking to get the Kenevo SL. Thanks!

      @@MTBs Oh, one more thing: I have the levo SL in size XL an let's say I kinda like it, but given that kenevo is a bit longer, to put it simply, I'm still not sure whether to get it in size S4 or S5. Primary use will NOT be just descents...what do you think?

    • @MTBs
      @MTBs  Год назад +1

      That all depends on your size, of course. But reach must be put in relation to other measurements such as HA and SA. A slacker bike with a more upright seat tube has to have a longer reach.
      I'm 185 cm, normal built (I think), and could ride the Kenevo SL in size S5 with a shorter stem at 35 mm. Std stem is 50 mm. My brother is 182 cm, and he would probably prefer a size S4. We're a bit in between sizes here.

      @@MTBs oh I missed that. I just heard why don't they have a kenevo with the big motor. Must have misheard! Can't wait for my kenevo sl!!

    Love my kenevo but wish it had a little more power

  • @simony2801
    @simony2801 Год назад

    The kenovo needs more power I think. It’s interesting when you say prices is specs have come down to directly sold brands, they might have to reply with more price cuts.

      Maybe gen 2 of the SL motor will be introduced to the Kenevo SL in the near future. Will be a good step forward.

    What about Tero X? Can it be a cheaper alternative for less demanding trails?

    • @MTBs
      @MTBs  5 месяцев назад +1

      Sure, but it's not in the same league as these bikes in the video. The Tero X is more of an adventure bike for relaxed rides on forrest roads in my opinion.

    I'm really hesitating between the Turbo Levo comp carbon and the Canyon Spectral on CF 8 with the 900wh battery, looking for an all rounder with a good range any advice? Thanks

    • @MTBs
      @MTBs  Год назад +2

      Tough one... Both bikes are very similar when it comes to the rear linkage and the motor/battery layout. What differs are the motors, motor integration system and battery size. Things like how close you are to a service center and price would probably play a big role in your decision too, I would imagine.
      I have only ridden the Spectral:ON very briefly and cannot really say anything about the bike, but other reviewers seem to like the bike.
      Sorry, cannot help you in your decision more than to say that you would probably be happy either way. Canyon make very nice bikes too even if I think the Spectral:ON CF models are a little bit pricey for being from a direct-to-consumer brand.

    if i was buying another e bike it be a less powered one, i own a full powered e bike de restricted but part of me feels yeah its great flying about feeling fresh but other part of me misses feeling like ive been out and rode a bike its just made riding too easy full powered, maybes why i bought a gravel
    bike and gone back to riding my normal full sus again, i dont feel as chilled after my rideriding a full sus full powered e bike around the trails for 26 miles as i do riding my normal sus for 15 miles around the trails, i love e bikes best thing ever made but dont give me the feeling i get off riding a non e bike this is why i would go less powered if i was too buy another one

      I get your point and I think it comes down to where you ride (lots of climbs e t c). I live in a pretty hilly area and often ride analogue bikes. With a little bit of extra help from a motor, when I get to test an eMTB, I enjoy these trails a lot more to be honest.

    Any thoughts considering the new Levo SL? Looks like it came out a month after you made this.

    • @MTBs
      @MTBs  Год назад +1

      Sorry, haven’t ridden it. Seems like a natural step forward. The more powerful motor was a must, considering the competition and how weak the old motor was.
