Thank you for all of your hard work on these vidios. Being an amateur i get to glean alot from you all.
Thank you fellows great info
Thanks guys
Thank you bunches.
Just this morning we were talking about choosing a time to give the coop it’s good fall cleaning.
I have been using a dedicated BBQ brush to clean the roosts and it works well.
Let’s start a “Get Eric a Hot Tub” campaign but all subscribers are allowed to use it!
I think that’s fair! 😂
Good stuff!
Thanks guys!
Thank you too!
Good information as usual
Colloidal silver is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. We have been using it for over twenty years. We use colloidal silver in their drinking water to keep it fresher and to disinfect surfaces. We also use colloidal silver topically on the birds when needed. Colloidal silver can be made very cheaply.
Wow! Good to know! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Thanks for the tip!
You are so welcome!@@HobbyFarmGuys
Hey Eric, Where is the link for the herbs?
Oops! The link has now been added.
First time chicken mom here. So you are cleaning the coop and the chicken are not allowed in while this is happening. I have 7 hens where do the hens lay eggs while this happens? Mine takes all day to lay 7 eggs.
I can usually clean the coop and have them back in in a few hours. They will simply wait to lay their eggs. Though Mine usually lay before 9am or in the afternoon, so I do the cleaning in between.
There is no link for the 7 herbs.

Does this mean you disagree with Harvey Usserys method of coop maintenance.
No. Harvey is a proponent of the deep litter method, which both Steve & Brian use. That doesn’t mean cleaning & disinfecting can be completely omitted. However, the deep litter method doesn’t work for all environments. Here is a video on the process:

Thanks guys, i watched your other vidio and it explained everything. Thanks for replying to my question. Love your videos and keep up the good work because it's very helpful to everyone.
To clean coop is stupid waist of time. A coop should be moved every day or like mine twice a day. A normal coop comes from industry style farms.Nothing worse for any animals health. Better ways is the tractor coop moved into fresh grass or a cover crop on a section in garden.
We do like the chicken tractors
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT INFO . THIS IS THE STUFF ON MY MIND A LOT ,BEEN USING VINEGAR BUT APPARENTLY IN TOO WEAK A SOLUTION, HALF AND HALF WITH WATER AND LEAVE IT DRY SOUNDS JUST GREAT .
