I take highways here in Brazil with a 250cc with no problems. 120 km/h peacefully

You can but for short distances. I used to use from 125cc up to 1100 and with experience 500cc is up to 150 to 200km range and stretching. Not to mention wind issues with lighter bikes.

I have the same bike and the fastest I went on the highway was between 140-150km/h, but the wind gets unbearable and it hurts the neck to keep your head forward if you don't have a wind breaker. A comfortable speed is 110km/h, which is not much considering the limit where I live is 130.
Ive gotten mines to 102 mph, its pretty unbearable anything past 130km/h in my personal opinion, and im a pretty fit guy. At 6’2 200lbs, the wind ragdolls me like nobodies business.

Rebel 500 is NOT fast enough for the highway lol it tops out at 85mph

The Rebel 500 will top out at around 100mph. The 300 tops out at about 85mph. In any case, half the US's maximum speed limit is under 70. The other half between 75/80. Only 1 highway in the US has a speed limit of 85!
