operated by first transit before they were taken over by transdev. i rode a few of these buses. these were the version before the current version that looks like the everio 400
If the top floor had just a bit more height, these would make the ultimate RV conversion. My 6"2' height, would have me badlly hunched over though. Cool bus
Cool video. These are Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 double decks. Not to be confused with the New Flyer Invero. Which incase if you didn’t know. New Flyer is now the parent company of Alexander Dennis. The “Grab rails” on each front corner of the bus are actually not grab rails. They are more or less guards to protect the bus against trees, or other objects they could withstand.
3:18 I can tell you having driven for Community Transit that their buses are impeccably maintained. I was seriously impressed.
Community Transit Alexander Dennis Double Decker. Good Morning Erick and Jack!

Wow, that's in immaculate condition! Kudos to the former operator for keeping it well maintained.

Eric's back and a double-decker
They have a custom tune. 1st gear lockup b500 and ISL380's. Setup VGT, and you have an engine brake.
They use these for RTC in Las Vegas
It's an Allison B500R 6-speed with retarder. Cummins ISM diesel emgine.
i like that bus.
Surprised Community Transit decided to sell one of their double deckers
The ultimate skoolie... 😂
14 feet tall however!

Hey eric, I love this bus yes it's not perfect and it'll never be perfect like it was out of the factory but I still love it. Plz reply
Great for a party bus
2:43 I'm betting that has rolled over once. 1.1 million miles is more like it.
not.
Automatic tire chains too
they are glazed antivandal, can take bullets
MTR guy, they can put a bano in the back.
Would be great as a sightseeing bus if you can you can cut off most of the roof without it collapsing
What happened to the double deckers? 😢
Retired due to age.
ye I remember seeing them
@@martinezcruz2011 They've only retired the 2010 Double Deckers, there are still 2015, 2017, and 2015 Double Deckers on the road.
@ ye but I used to see the older ones before
The button is for a horn, not 911.
Offer these to Skagit Transit.
