Thanks for the tour! A boy and his Tonka toy. 😉 Next you’ll be installing a pressure washer to give that monster a good bath after rolling in the mud. 😂

Wow, cool truck. I've something really similar but in Ford C900 form. It has a 16 ton turret crane. You'll have fun with it. I miss the days of grocery shopping in a 4x4 crane.

These are great. Was a nice update to the 21/2 ton military vehicles. But the army paid a hefty price for the windshields due to helmets lol.

Pre-form for a machine gun ring atop the cab could be a desirable option in mad max regions.

I bought this from a Military Museum in Illinois. Unfortunately because of the lockdowns they had to sell off part of their collection to make ends meet.

Thanks for sharing. Holy crap you don’t do anything half way do you. It’s a great set up and so nice for you that you don’t need an A class license. Have you forded any streams in it?

Need your Help, my LMTV wheel is tight/hard to steer. What kind of steering fluid do I need to fill? Do you know exactly where to fill? Thank you

Hey Nice Truck! I have been looking at those online and I am just wondering where you found yours? Your truck looks and sounds like it runs and drives really well, did you have to do any major repairs to it when you got it?

Unsolicited suggestion. Perhaps install a Hella 002843011 - Hella Battery Master Disconnect Switches
    ( 31 ) Part Number: HLA-002843011
Hella 002843011 - Hella Battery Master Disconnect Switches $18.12. it's a small removal thing, It's not exactly a key but it can be easily wired so the truck can't start without it turned on.
Also consider installing a used air ride seat for the driver, there are plenty usable ones in truck junk yards.
    Thanks for the video.

Hey Chris, is that board and batten on the garagae/barn exterior or a metal panel made to look like board and batten? Thanks!

    •  3 года назад

It’s Board and Batten, not steel.

    • @danielbuckner2167
      @danielbuckner2167 3 года назад

@ Ah, ok. Thanks, I was hoping it was that new steel to get your opinion on it. Building looks great either way though! So whats up with that bay door opener, is there a special apparatus in the making?

Crane is mainly used for getting the spare tire up/down.

    •  3 года назад

@@genemounce8302 the spare has its own lift system. I use the crane to load all sorts of stuff in the bed, as shown in the video 👍🏻

so being you have the older model of Cat ,unless you have updated the ejectors ? you need to run some atf fluid in your fuel as they have changed the fuel formulas 7 dif times over the years and now the new formula Diesel, don't have as much slick in them , so the ATF fluid will add what the fuel need for the old injectors to work proper and not burn out , 1/2 quart per 50 gal of diesel , you go a bit less if you like , it will help the piston rings seal better to and it is best to stay away from Bio diesel with the older Cats , as the bio diesel eats up the seals in the injection pump , this only apply to diesel eng from 2000 and and older as they changed to a newer injector model
