Ah, but Usopp DID gain a power-up during this arc! His confidence! At least for the remainder of the arc (Thriller Bark sort of ruins it by taking steps backwards, before going forwards again with it... but it's one of many issues I have with that arc). Initially, he wears the Sogeking mask for his confidence. He has to pretend to be someone else in order to be brave and courageous. It all eventually culminates in him TAKING OFF THE MASK in order to inspire Luffy to get up and continue his fight against Lucci. That's him finally being confident enough to show his face to Luffy in an incredibly important scene, where he doesn't have to hide his faith in Luffy or, funnily enough, faith in himself. I love Usopp's character arc from Aokiji through to the end of post-Enies Lobby.
His confindece goes up and down with a press of the button he is not suppose to be a powerhouse, in thriller bark the place is a cluster fuck of ghost, zombies and terror, ussop was going to be scared to death but he was the only strawhat to face perona, he faced his fears thats what courage is all about, he didnt went back, he just keeps going up and up but the fact he is a coward is part of who he is, the thing is ussop is able to endure and surpass his fears but not completly overcome them that he doesnt get scare again, he just does what he needs to do when the situation requires and thats why he later becomes a GOD the strongest One piece character in existence.
yeah but i feel the usopp and merry storylines conflict with robin and frankys join the crew arc...they make us forget how important those 2 are ...most people rightfully i might add say usopp.and merrys goodbyes are highlights of the show and sadly that makes robins i want to live and frankys belief in the strawhats less memorable
Kaku: *"Damn! I tried to change into my Man-Beast form, but I messed up on the man part!"* Usopp: (Face Fault) *"THERE'S A TALKING GIRAFFE FALLING THROUGH THE CEILING!!!!"*
I distinctly remember the "I want to live" scene and it STILL sends chills down my spine any time I come across it, regardless of the reason. I liked One Piece already, but this was the point I swore to myself to continue following it till the end.
I think it's just cos the cast is bigger including alliance memeber and splitting up the tea, but when theyre on they shine i still think nami was an mvp in wci, luffy would be dead without her and she was the only one to hurt big mama by using her own weapon agasint her. also both her and robin aswell had good moment in wano
This was a great arc! One thing I like about One Piece is that every member of the Strawhats plays a vital role and contributes something important to the missions or story. Like you said, Usopp is possibly the MVP of this arc despite being one of the weaker members of the crew. This aspect has been downplayed in recent arcs, however.
Downplayed recently? Spoilers if you're not at least up to the current arc. Usopp was again a vital role in Dressrosa, their time in Zou was spent more as getting caught up with the second half of the crew, and in Whole Cake island I'd argue Brook is the MVP here. In Whole Cake Island, Brook and Pedro broke into the chateau, Brook snuck into the treasure room, looked the doors behind himself, kicked the asses of every inside and stole a copy of not just the road ponyglygh but the other two glyphs next to it as well. And in a moment as genius as it is comedic, he had hidden the copies in his skull which we'll find out a little later. Just as he's finished, Big Mom herself broke down the doors and Brook, albeit scared, was fully prepared for a head on fight he had no chances of winning. After his defeat, he was stripped and searched, nothing found on him. And Big Mom held onto him for a little while before his crew found her sleeping and quickly recaptured him, where he immediately after hands to Nami the copies he got. And during the wedding, all the commotion as Luffy and his mirror copies are running around while Jimbei is quiting Big Mom's crew, Brook is the one who snuck over and smashed the image of Mother Caramel.
Simply put, arc made me obsessed with this show lol. Robin’s backstory, the giants, Sodom and Gomorrah’s sacrifice(who woulda thought some sea dinosaurs with horrible names would make me cry?), Luffy commanding Sogeking to shoot through the navy flag(Usopp’s most badass moment thus far), Luffy having to step his game up and utilized Gears 2-3, Luffy vs Lucci(my favorite villain so far, I’m at the beginning of Impel Down). Man this arc/saga had it all!
I can't imagine being weekly for as long as you have. Just noticed these reviews exist feom years ago. Obviously I just caught up last year and I can't get enough so I'm looking for all content related to it. These are cool because they have the weekly reader perspective which is more rare in 2022.
Yes! This is the pinnacle of One Piece. My only complaint about it is that the power ups kind of come out of no where. Although Luffy did say he had wanted to try something out, possibly alluding to the fact he had figured out Second Gear and Third Gear
For luffy he does allude to experimenting with it, occasionally he would use a Gatling or something and turn slightly pink, or would stamp his feet and they would turn pink. For example, during the raid on franky house, when luffy uses gum gum cannon he starts turning pink during the Gatling part, but when he uses the cannon part he goes back to normal
fighting for their friend is what they do in one piece. Saving the island or whatever is never the objective, they just wanna help their friend/friends
This arc was so heart stopping from Robins plea to live right tho to when luffi put the smack down on Rob Lucci. Pitty it was followed up with thriller bark.
@@jesseowenvillamor6348 yes it was good but thats all just good if u watch it in Isolation its great fun with some great character moments but sandwich between Enies lobby and Archipelago Arc its just good.
Don't forget that even without the consequences, Luffy's power ups in One Piece are MUCH more enjoyable than other shounen for these reasons: 1. They make theoretical sense with his Devil Fruit powerups, and are creative applications of it rather than asspulls. (And in the case of Haki, pretty much every antagonist post-timeskip has haki as well therefore not really making it a special power as much as another way to train) 2. They don't happen every arc, in fact they only happen about three times in the series (gear 2 and 3 both at enies lobby, haki during timeskip, and gear 4 at dressrosa). The other times when Luffy gets a powerup are all just improvements to his pre-existing powers, showing a dynamic growth rather than a narrative-driven plot device. 3. Many of Luffy's final fights in arcs have a similar concept to Jojo fights, in that Luffy/his crew must find a way to defeat their respective enemy through actual creativity and battle sense. That is to say, fights rarely come down to JUST determination and "friendship power", but rather usually have some sort of battle tactic or strategy involved as well, making the powerups feel like a natural evolution in the fight, rather than an external factor. Even though the portrayal of these scenes highlights Luffy's determination and sheer willpower, it is easy to forget that much of the battle to that final desperate punch was creative and not at all just a mindless punchfest. This especially highlights One Piece as a special shounen anime. Nearly every other good shounen anime, even the more creative ones, end up as a glorified punch out; even if the emotional and narrative impact of a fight like that can be very impactful, it doesn't reach the perfection of Luffy vs. Katakuri, which seems like a punch out on the surface but actually (as analyzed by GrandLineReview himself) carries an overwhelming amount of conflict-based structure, intent, art, pacing, evolution, and has no lack of actual strategy either.
What makes Gear Second memorable isn't the common "power with a cost" trope - it's that it's an upgrade only possible with a Devil Fruit user like Luffy. It's not just an arbitrary power-up; it's tailor-made for solely Luffy.
The "I want to live," line was undeniably better in the dub than the sub. No contest it was so damn good. I don't know which one of the 3 were the VA for Enies Lobby but holy crap she was fantastic. So much emotion, the way her voice breaks. It was about as masterclass as you can get.
The voice acting she did is what sold the arc for me. It's the main reason I like it better than marine Ford. Both arcs were amazing, but one had more impact full voice acting
Still my favorite arc hands down, it never gets old seeing the crew walk to enies lobby, the strawhats pullin out all the stops with new power ups/upgrades and etc for one friend.

Yeah!!!!! Enies Lobby!!! Yes sir. I love the reveal of monster chopper and gear second and Robin's "I want to live" speech. This is my second favorite after marine war. It was the definition of epic!!
Let’s be real here. The only reason that titles weren’t the only necessary qualifier is the Sogekingu-Sama is far too easily #1. The sniper island is in your heart. ✌🏻💙
GrandLineReview working on it i am currently enjoying the wonderful world of one piece. The straw hats have finally left dressrosa and defeated the evil flamingo bird
Some of my favorite moments in this arc would be Usopp shooting down the marines right before Robin is taken, Merry saving the crew, Usopp taking off the mask to challenge Lucci, the Enies Lobby walk, Gear 2. Man, almost the entire arc was just one massive favorite moment.
The entire Water 7 story up till Enies Lobby is by far my most favourite One Piece arc. So many fantastic moments crammed in there that it is hard to count them all. What also sets this arc apart from all of One Piece is that this is arguably the lowest point in the Strawhats' journey on the Grand Line. Just to summarise; their old ship is broken and has to be replaced, they lose almost all their money because of Franky's gang, Usopp comes into serious conflict with Luffy which in turn almost fractures the crew permanently in the process, their newest member Robin throws in the towel and decides to sacrifice herself to ensure the others may live (which at first looked like her betraying them), and on top of that, the CP9 is their biggest hurdle yet and arguably the deciding factor if Luffy and the crew will have what it takes to actually be able to reach One Piece. Both the internal and external conflicts going on in this whole arc are working wonderfully together to create the defining moment for the Strawhat crew. One of my favourite themes of the story is surrounding Luffy himself, and his relationship with the crew. Since the beginning of One Piece, the others have had at times a hard time taking Luffy seriously as the captain, because of his easy going attitude and all around stupidity and crazy antics. It's not until they reach Water 7 where Luffy is fully embraced and accepted as the captain of the Strawhat Pirates, and after this arc no one ever questions his authority as being the true captain. It's for good reason that the epilogue of leaving Water 7 with their new ship that Usopp, the guy who has up till this arc always talked about wanting to be the captain over Luffy, finally acknowledges Luffy as the true captain of the Strawhats and apologizes for his behaviour by showing Luffy respect. Water 7 is the culmination of a a lot of stuff for the One Piece story going on up till that point, and it is to me the transition from the old, rookie Strawhat crew to the new, veteran Strawhat crew.
With the latest reveals I think enies lobby being in constant daytime means a lot more than we thought, I think the place was extremely important, and it's no coincidence that world goverment took control of the area, and that giant hole...
Lucci does mention power levels in this arc. So does Oda care about power scaling? Also, all the Straw Hats held off a Buster Call. All the ships that destroyed the Island were shooting at them and they deflected them all. That was an amazing feat/conclusion to this arc. 10/10
Man when I got back in to the anime was at the end of foxy, and I'd record it on dvr. My mom hated it every Saturday on toonami because of foxy's laugh, but when this started even she got interested in the series. The water 7 and enies lobby arcs are my favorite still and I loved the story and fights. Your comment on the draw backs are on point except for forgetting about them, Luffy trained to master them like Goku's Kaioken, and it was repeated in dresserosa with gear 4th if you remember. Luffy finally gets gear 3rd mastered and breaks out the culmination of beating his training partners while under Rayleigh. Each time I'm reminded of kaioken times 4 against Vegeta because he uses a skill he knows will have major draw backs but grants a new level of power thought to be a trump card. Love your videos man, keep up the good work. I'm new to the channel and have been hooked because you take the time to show your thought process.
Idk why but this arc is just perfect to me... - Good opening, The singer is talented af. - The straw hat declaring War on the world Government because They declared war on their Nakama is amazing - The straw hats first power up - CP9 powers revealed - Monster chopper.. it’s so surprising you wouldn’t think that a cute reindeer could be destructive. - Sogeking burning the flag - the fights were close (nearly gave me a heart attack when straw hats almost lost) - The buster call brutality revealed - Franky burns pluton and helping straw hats This Arc is just perfect
she trolls and makes jokes or did you forget the faces she does in Dressdrossa? If any he has become a bit crazy like the strawhats and that kills me XD
Between Robin saying she wants to live and the death of the Going Merry I think this part of the story is probably the strongest emotionally (and maybe the Going Merry funeral is technically part of the next arc, but screw technicality).
yeah....ennies lobby is all about payoffs from water 7....robins i want to live plea after we see her backstory and how she has been looking for friends like these her whole life, the strawhats each willing to die saving robin with their own individual cp9 agent matchups looking for her key (which never felt stretched long or boring like dressrosa or whole cake did), usopps return and the way he motivates luffy taking off his mask, frankys loyalty and destroying the plans of pluton an eventual joining, robin rejoining, merrys funeral, and usopps apology....this arc really made us cry and smile harder than any before it..thats for sure..and really since...marineford wasn't this emotional...
The “I want to live” moment with everyone standing on the parapets is my favourite moment in the whole series. Fingers crossed they extend season 3 of live action and cover both skypiea and water 7 saga.
Ennies Lobby also convinced me to watch One Piece as a whole series. I used to watch OP on tv but after Skypeia the tv station would again stop airing the series. And also I was too young to care for the plot anyways. Years later, I passed by my brother who was watching a clip of Luffy activating his Gear 2nd and up to that point, I had no idea that Luffy's ability can be "extended". I got interested again and holy shit I got sucked into the world building of OP. So much respect for Oda as a mangaka.
Sorry for double posting, but as for the anime, I do not know that feeling because when I marathoned all of One Piece, I watched EL and even rewatching it, I still think it was a really good adaptation. Yeah, you could talk about the manga and its artwork, but I genuinely prefer the anime's adaptation to this arc. Namely, because of the music with the new tracks at the time.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was kind of a downer for me, but I'm happy to know that others really get something out of it, because in the end it's all about just sharing the joy of One Piece.
EL I argue is some of the best, if not the BEST, arc in One Piece. The reason for me is that it is the payoff to all the setup from W7. Robin was in danger. The stakes here were very personal and direct. None of the Straw Hat members could afford to sit back. And the best part, EVERYONE had a role to play. Robin's backstory was touching and Sogeking shooting the flag still remains my favorite moment in all of OP and a representation of Luffy's willingness to get his friends back. For his crew was his family. CP9 are all amazing, especially Rob Lucci who remained my favorite antagonist in OP due to how much he pushed Luffy to his limit. Combined with some great humor and the consequences of this arc, I argue it is some of Oda's best writing. The arc is easily a 100% for me.
This is my favorite arc. Ever since Skypiea, my enjoyment of OP was dropping. Water 7 was really good, and I liked it, but what really got me into it again was Enies Lobby. Now I’m at the beginning of Whole Cake and still going strong
I stated watching one piece right skypiea arc and watched weekly until this arc came started that made have to watch the subversion because I couldn't sleep not knowing if they save Robin or not, rambling cut short top 3 favorite arcs
I think the gears are better than things like the super saiyan power-ups because they're all very different. Gear Second? Super speedy. Gear Third? Super big. And Gear Fourth? Well, that one's just... crazy.

I liked enies lobby since it finally has usopp playing a role in the thing which he is one of my favorite characters and his speech to luffs was just epic, luffy also defeated 2 enemies which was interesting and actually made luffy op as hell, he defeated the strongest anatagonist and the 2nd strongest antagonist in the enies lobby so yeah it was funny and a good arc, even though marineford is still better by a little bit, since marineford was so long

His confindece goes up and down with a press of the button he is not suppose to be a powerhouse, in thriller bark the place is a cluster fuck of ghost, zombies and terror, ussop was going to be scared to death but he was the only strawhat to face perona, he faced his fears thats what courage is all about, he didnt went back, he just keeps going up and up but the fact he is a coward is part of who he is, the thing is ussop is able to endure and surpass his fears but not completly overcome them that he doesnt get scare again, he just does what he needs to do when the situation requires and thats why he later becomes a GOD the strongest One piece character in existence.
yeah but i feel the usopp and merry storylines conflict with robin and frankys join the crew arc...they make us forget how important those 2 are ...most people rightfully i might add say usopp.and merrys goodbyes are highlights of the show and sadly that makes robins i want to live and frankys belief in the strawhats less memorable
he has done a great fight in thriller bark!
Well and hist bigger slingshot...
Wait...
SOGEKING IS USOPP?!? no way
uff i love this one
easily my fav arc til now
great review, i really like your channel :)
Kaku: *"Damn! I tried to change into my Man-Beast form, but I messed up on the man part!"*
Usopp: (Face Fault) *"THERE'S A TALKING GIRAFFE FALLING THROUGH THE CEILING!!!!"*
Lol, that is so memorable.
One of the best arcs ever indeed
Thank you, oh lord.
I distinctly remember the "I want to live" scene and it STILL sends chills down my spine any time I come across it, regardless of the reason. I liked One Piece already, but this was the point I swore to myself to continue following it till the end.
I love giraffes >:(
And I love this arc. I have re-read and -watched it so many times
For the last time giraffes are awesome. I love giraffes.
Giraffes are glorious.
When is this ark what episode
It's a shame with Nami and Robin. They have some of the my favorite fighting styles of the Straw Hats and maybe in the series.
Once the timeskip, Oda trashed them. Fortunately both shined in Wano.
Yeah I hate how oda has reduced their characters after ts but like the other comment said at least they’re getting decent feats in wano
The Going Merry coming back to rescue them as a final voyage was so beautiful.
Never thought I'd cry for a pirate shit.
Good point, but the each member of the strawhats got their time in the sun in this arc in particular.
What? Ussop was also the MVP in Thriller bark and a huge Mvp In Dressdrossa
@@raulrojas9253 what does MVP mean?
@@poordolt6482 most valuable player, it pretty much means the person who played a major part in something/shined the most
Simply put, arc made me obsessed with this show lol.
Although Luffy did say he had wanted to try something out, possibly alluding to the fact he had figured out Second Gear and Third Gear
in some fillers he kinda does, so one point for the anime vs the manga but yeah we still dont know how zoro can do the Kitoryu or Sanji Diable jamble.
I have a soft spot for the Arlong arc, so I can't really decide which is my favorite... but Arlong, Alabasta and CP9 are my top 3 arcs in OP.
ever notice that in all 3 of those arcs, theyre fighting for their female friend
fighting for their friend is what they do in one piece.
Saving the island or whatever is never the objective, they just wanna help their friend/friends
no like im saying those arcs involving the female friends get the most praise
are you saying it's _because_ of that? or just pointing out the coincidence?
yeah just pointing out the coincidence
This arc was so heart stopping from Robins plea to live right tho to when luffi put the smack down on Rob Lucci. Pitty it was followed up with thriller bark.
yeah but sabaody impel down marineford dressrosa and possibly wano followed that..aka great arcs
Thriller Bark is a good arc
@@jesseowenvillamor6348 yes it was good but thats all just good if u watch it in Isolation its great fun with some great character moments but sandwich between Enies lobby and Archipelago Arc its just good.
Thriller bark is def not too bad of an arc, but imo the manga did it way more justice than the anime. Pacing was just horrible in the anime.
Don't forget that even without the consequences, Luffy's power ups in One Piece are MUCH more enjoyable than other shounen for these reasons:
1. They make theoretical sense with his Devil Fruit powerups, and are creative applications of it rather than asspulls. (And in the case of Haki, pretty much every antagonist post-timeskip has haki as well therefore not really making it a special power as much as another way to train)
Stephanie Young
The voice acting she did is what sold the arc for me. It's the main reason I like it better than marine Ford. Both arcs were amazing, but one had more impact full voice acting
This is my favorite one piece arc your video gave it justice
Kaku vs Zoro was amazing
Still my favorite arc hands down, it never gets old seeing the crew walk to enies lobby, the strawhats pullin out all the stops with new power ups/upgrades and etc for one friend.
Even thou I watch 5 - 7 one piece related yt channels you're the one I like the most for many reasons:
1. thorough and concise explanations.
2. you don't have many theories videos, which I don't mind them at all but there are ppl in our community with a new theory video every single day(sigh).
3. your wife's input about one piece
4. Arc reviews, one piece 101, Top 5's, Best channel comments.
I just recently found your channel and I am addicted to it, keep it up m8!
YOU FORGOT ABOUT THE BURNING OF MERRY! RIP!
That’s technically post ennies lobby ark which is segregated
Grandlinereview: Usopp doesn’t get a power up though.
Kabuto: Am I a joke to you?
I spoiled my friend and told my friend that Sogeking is Kaku
Yeah!!!!! Enies Lobby!!! Yes sir. I love the reveal of monster chopper and gear second and Robin's "I want to live" speech. This is my second favorite after marine war. It was the definition of epic!!
Enies Lobby was phenominal. Sanji vs Jyabora has my favorite moment for Sanji fighting wise.
You mean Jabra?
Thank you for putting me in the Q-A!
That's all good! Thanks for the question!
GrandLineReview oh and this is also the first time i've ever been in a video.
Let’s be real here. The only reason that titles weren’t the only necessary qualifier is the Sogekingu-Sama is far too easily #1. The sniper island is in your heart. ✌🏻💙
Too true.
Sogeking Vinesmoke "Can I have your autograph!?"
I consider this and the train all just the water 7 arc... that said it's my favorite arc!
This was my favorite arc along with water 7. These 2.5 (counting the sea train) arcs are just the best one piece has to offer
I like power watched this series to get to enies lobby. Monkey D Luffy will become king of the birds
That he will. Have you killed Son Goku yet?
GrandLineReview working on it i am currently enjoying the wonderful world of one piece. The straw hats have finally left dressrosa and defeated the evil flamingo bird
RIP android 16 you will be miss
This channel is growing so fast
I won't be surprised if in the next few years this channel becomes the next one piece RUclips pirate king
O:
Was waiting for this one!
Best arc. Best.
- The straw hat declaring War on the world Government because They declared war on their Nakama is amazing
- The straw hats first power up
- CP9 powers revealed
- Monster chopper.. it’s so surprising you wouldn’t think that a cute reindeer could be destructive.
- Sogeking burning the flag
- the fights were close (nearly gave me a heart attack when straw hats almost lost)
- The buster call brutality revealed
- Franky burns pluton and helping straw hats
This Arc is just perfect
Sadly this is also the last time Robin shows any emotion throughout the series.
Sub A what about when they fought Kuma? Robin was scared af.
Don't you count her anger at Franky behaving like himself in Chopper's body?
But I know what you mean :\
Sub A And what about the shock she felt when she had to act natural in Dressrosa when CP-0 walked by?
She giggles a lot
Was scared as sit during sabaody
Worried for law when he was gonna get killed by doffy etc etc
she trolls and makes jokes or did you forget the faces she does in Dressdrossa?
Because of ur reviews i am rewatching water 7 and enies lobby again lol
:D
The “I want to live” moment with everyone standing on the parapets is my favourite moment in the whole series. Fingers crossed they extend season 3 of live action and cover both skypiea and water 7 saga.
Favorite arc.
And next week , we find out how scary Luffy's family really is!
And the animation in this arc is just crystal clear
I wish i could erase my memories of water 7 / ennies lobby and experience it again fresh. It was so fudging great
i kept hearing "Lil Gun" when he was apparently saying "Little Garden".....
Pretty sure Sogeking did way more than Usopp in Enies Lobby Arc, but it was wonderful to see Usopp tells Luffy not to give up
Usopp wasn’t in this arc, it was Sogeking replacing him
We got so much in this arc its unreal loved from the start to the end of the arc
One of my fav arcs
Wow you've been reading a long time. My friends are impressed when I say I've been caught up since Punk Hazard.
I caught up to the anime with Impel Down, but then caught up to the Manga right around when the time skip was about to happen
I'm right at the timeskip and I still believe this is the best arc so far. Marineford is really close though.
Yo my fav Franky moment is him chomping down on spandam just fucking chews his ass up
One of favorite arcs
Bro I can’t believe usopp knows such a great warrior of the sea like sogeking would go out of his way to help ussops friends
Enies lobby and return to water 7 arc is just water 7 arc for me
Sogeking’s theme tune carries the entire arc
I just finished this arc today, 10/10! Had me in tears at the end!
9:01 I thought Kokoro was the heart of the arc.
This and Water 7 are my favourite One Piece Arcs hands down
I stated watching one piece right skypiea arc and watched weekly until this arc came started that made have to watch the subversion because I couldn't sleep not knowing if they save Robin or not, rambling cut short top 3 favorite arcs
The Pick of One piece.Only the combination of sabaody, amazon lily, impel down and marineford could match it.It was that good.
Four words sum up Enis Lobby perfectly: “I Want to LIVE!!!”
This is where Unicorn died and Hogback stole the corpse.
Sanji - I am a hunter was the coldest entrance
Oda missed comedy gold with Luffy shrinking but having the straw hat stay the same size
You're always great with words.
Thank you kindly! :D
I may be late, but I love how you explain it w out spoilers. Im only in water 7 rn but I wanted to know about the little things after water 7
Thank you I was waiting for you make this video
You're welcome!
02:55 actually Crocodile was the first example of an awakened devil fruit but good video anyway mate. all the way from south africa
He said it's the first example of an awakened ZOAN type. Crocodile's a logia user.
Yeah the problem is that its not awakening for Chopper.
I think the gears are better than things like the super saiyan power-ups because they're all very different. Gear Second? Super speedy. Gear Third? Super big. And Gear Fourth? Well, that one's just... crazy.
Good durability and flight
Wow, it feels like only a few days ago you made your Best Channel Comments video celebrating reaching 1000 subscribers, and now you're nearing the 1,500 mark. At this rate, it may not be long until you actually are the #1 One Piece channel on RUclips.
My most favorite arc ever!!
I liked enies lobby since it finally has usopp playing a role in the thing which he is one of my favorite characters and his speech to luffs was just epic, luffy also defeated 2 enemies which was interesting and actually made luffy op as hell, he defeated the strongest anatagonist and the 2nd strongest antagonist in the enies lobby so yeah it was funny and a good arc, even though marineford is still better by a little bit, since marineford was so long
Enies Lobby was the first ark where I started liking Robin.
One of my favorite arcs
Call me slow.... But I low-key didn't even notice Franky Joining
its an amazing arc and a CONTENDER for best arc in the series. but the best arc is obviously marineford arc. that shit shattered all my expectations
