I got the new metal button one , rise 4. The plastic is very greasy feeling so I took a soldering iron and did stippling and it feels awesome. Also on mine they painted the little window you're supposed to be able to see your red light through black so I couldn't see the light, thought it wasn't working. I had to sand the paint off. I love the kit overall though, the buttons are more rigid and don't click too easy on the 30 model ones
@@GloXum I would say i have pretty big hands and I don’t find either of my controller paddles on the scuff or extreme rate to be short, they are a bit different but once you’ve used paddles for so long it doesn’t really matter the placement, it’s pretty much the same if that makes sense
@@carlobene86 no, it took me 2 hours to do the back paddles and the trigger attachments, i’ve done it like 4 times after that and have made some for my boys, now it takes me anywhere from 45mins to an hour for paddles and triggers
I would like to add something. These buttons don‘t have much resistance therefore accidental presses is a thing with theses buttons…A BIG THING. I constantly accidentally press one of these buttons.
I just bought the one without a mother board “Chameleon Purple Blue Replacement Redesigned K1 K2 K3 K4 Back Buttons Housing Shell for PS5 Controller eXtremeRate RISE4 Remap Kit - Controller & RISE4 Remap Board NOT Included” That’s bad ? I can’t do it like the strike pack?(Easy to Map)?
Is having 4 buttons any better than 2? For cod i can understand why you need x and o, but change weapon and reload seems like it probably doesn’t offer much benefit. Am i wrong?
That’s preference for everyone. I didn’t think so until i tried it and it was a huge difference to be able to press all these buttons seamlessly. And I’m also a semi sweat at first person shooter games
Thanks for the review! Can you comfortably press the back buttons with your ring fingers? I'm playing a game that has me using my index and middle fingers for all the shoulder buttons (R1, R2, L1, L2), so only my ring fingers are free.
Late reply, you can, but it feels more natural to do with your index finger. What I do is map l3/r3 and l1/r1 to the buttons/paddles and then only have to use the r2/l3 triggers

yo, i’ve got a scuff reflex. recently got the extreme rate, i can say the paddles are way easier to click on the extreme rate, im loving it
Do you think the paddles are too short?
@@GloXum on what?

Was that Adventure Capitalist BGM?
Appreciate the vid. Thinking about doing this, how is it holding up?
Still doing great no problems at all!

Do you think the paddles are too short? I'm trying to compare it to the PS4 back paddle attachment
I have the ps4 paddles they’re about the same type of feel
Can you still use the original buttons once they are mapped to the back buttons?
Yes

Thanks, ordered the 4 button one

Why when I try to remap my buttons it will only blink then go out instead of being a full light
Is there any delay on those?
If there is it is not noticeable
That’s what I’m thinking aswell I don’t wanna buy it if there is, did you end up getting one?
Does it work on pc?
I didn’t do the soldering part, so I can’t map the sticks, which isn’t a big deal.
Yea i didn’t do the soldering part either
How have they been holding up
Amazingly
good shit
