If you want all its shiny postgressy goodness, you'll have to upgrade to a Custom plan with Postgres enabled :) Alternatively, if you're a reclusive millionaire, and you'd like to make a massive donation in order to enable free Postgres access for all users, then do get in touch and we'll see what we can do."
PostgreSQL port has always been a pay aspect of PythonAnywhere. There are technical reasons inside of PostgreSQL itself that make it more expensive to give free accounts PostgreSQL. I have a PostgreSQL course at www.pg4e.com and have my own PostgresSQL server that students use to do assignments.
@@ChuckSeverance and also a beginner question, I do not know what and how you have your own postgres server mean, I mean I thought production postgres are always from cloud service provider like aws, digitalocean etc. How come you are able to have yours and your host for psql is pg4e, I do not understand. I will really love to know how you were able to achieve that
