I can confirm this, Chuck! I'm currently transitioning toward a more technical position inside Amazon and we have to learn SQL, and the recommended resources were all PostgreSQL (though the in house system seem to have some custom enhancements. Your course now arrives just in time for me! :)
So Dr. Chuck, if I am trying to learn more data modeling, actually working with QuickBase for a client, maybe I should follow your PostgreSQL lectures rather than MySQL?
The part of Chuck, compared to the younger generation is Guru like Chuck don't teach Syntax alone as most in paid and free courses. They answer WHY ...
Dr. Chuck, I want to contact you about co-founding a blockchain project. I think it'll be successful & scalable. How can I contact you for further information?
Thanks 👍 If you posted that in English more people would benefit. I don't want to come across as ungrateful and judgemental, I just think it's kinda nice being included in conversation. And don't worry about me. I may be ESL, but my English is as good(or as bad) as my Polish.
I started Python with Google's "instructor-babe" on Coursera, and I have asked NICELY if I can substitute your course instead. I'm also hitting Dr. Cameron Seay over the head with you, Dr. Severance. Computing professors can be OBTUSE when it comes the computationally challenged.
Chuck the Guru. I owe you a lot. The best gift any living can get is Knowledge.

I'm very excited to learn PostgreSQL from Mr. Severance! I met him while I started to learn Python and now its time for SQL. Thank you sir!
You're absolutely amazing Chuck. Just finished PY4E and now I see you have this too.. just when I wanted to learned postgresql!
I am glad you are finding it useful. Let me how the path from PY4E -> PG4E feels once you get started.
@@ChuckSeverance the transition and the course was fantastic. Moving on to DJ4E soon!
I am extremely excited to see this course from you sir, almost done with Python for everybody on coursera. And ll definitely be doing this course.
I can see a lot of thoughts and experiences being put into this course or other courses as well. Massive respect for Dr. Chuck.
Thank you sir!
Well, I have to do postgres project for the next week and you have just announced your lectures, what a luck :D
Thank you Dr. Chuck! Your courses are always the best resources someone can find!
This is great Chuck... thank you for sharing and helping us on our journeys
your teachings on SQL really helped me get working with web applications :)
Thank you so very much ...🔥💯
Thx again for sharing knowledge dr chuck!
I miss your videos and you, I was looking for a refresher in Python, but I may also watch your videos on PostgreSQL too.
This is gold sir God bless you
Very good material for the students to learn across the world
Can't wait to see the rest of the course!
Thank you Dr. Chuck

There is a lot more SQL in the PostgreSQL course than in the Web Applications for Everybody (WA4E)
Hi, new here...this looks interesting... How does it work, when do the new vids come out? Or do I need to go elsewhere? I.e not via RUclips? Thks

Dr. Chuck,

I believe AWS is now investing heavily to develop MariaDB .. they have positions open in there opensource teams ....
That would be an exciting development - especially if this led to the availability of serverless MariaDB in Aurora.
Great. Can't wait :)
It's available on his site already.
Thanks 👍
