  • Good afternoon ladies and gents. in this video I am showing a new frying pan I was kinda ndly sent to use as part of my ever growing bushcraft cook kit. This pan has a folding steel handle and is lightweight making it very portable. it is carbon steel making it a great alternative to cast iron with better thermal properties.

Great video but I noticed on these table top reviews I have to max my tv’s volume up to hear ya.
Anyway, discovered you recently and really am enjoying your content. Remind me of one of my friends. Hope the house hunting with the Misses is going well.

Cheers, buddy. Yeah, the tabletop vids were short-lived, haha. Hope you are well.

How are we doing, my good friend Martin? I'm hoping to get out in the field week after next at some point for a camp. The lady has just thrown a fault code at me, which I need to sort 😄 a fault on a landrover!! Who would have thought!

May I ask what technique you used to season that pan, has it gone black because its not stainless steel, yours really looks like nothing will stick.

Hi I used 3 different sized burners on the stove. I rub the oil around the pan with a kitchen towel and starting on the smallest ring first I place the pan on untill it stops smoking then move it to medium sized ring and so on until all the oil has stopped smoking then let the pan cool and repeat process about 3 or 4 times. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.
