Was using Fox Pawtector but not built well like you experienced and hardly any protection. I picked up the Cortech Aero-Flo gloves and been really happy with them for the past year. More of a proper dual sport glove with decent protection for street riding but still lightweight for the dirt. Cannot be beat for $40. I also use a Wells insulated leather work glove for those colder days. I'm currently looking for a good waterproof winter glove with long gauntlet.

I poured over a lot of reviews before buying the Klims. I hope they work out. If not I might give the cortechs a shot
