Cuz the other 3, Finn, Rhea & Damien all talk & the crowd listens. These are way better heels. Dom can't wrestle. When he's talking on the mic about being in prison it's so cringe. If you think he's a generational heel, then you got problems. This is why wrestling is garbage because of fans like you who accept anything.

Yeah I kept wondering why they kept saying prison when he only would have went to a holding cell but it was just part of the lie so it’s funny as hell.

It's been really cool to see Dom grow up before our eyes you can see how good he's gotten from where he was. He has such good mentorship that the sky is the limit for the kid

The most important thing about this guy compared to his peers in that business is that he LISTENS to the experienced pros. What a concept. It's really gonna take him a long way unlike someone like Adam Page.
I feel like the modern audience really doesn't give these guys enough of a chance to get over, props to Dom for getting connected to the crowd and growing into his own.
Its been pretty cool to watch the evolution of Dominik.

I'm glad he's making his own path, he is Rey's kid but he wants his own style/legacy and I'm happy about that
Disco's point about small crowds is exactly why indie shows become ironic comedy shows... and then it just went on for so long that the irony got lost.

Dominick has improved way more in the last 2 years than any of the AEW roster that’s still on Dark/Elevation. It’s cuz he actually cares and respects the business and isn’t in it for an easy paycheck.
Whats Even worse about what you're saying is he never needed a paycheck. These aew guys just do whatever, nothing matters. So hopefully those guys are good at saving money.
I love how he went to a holding cell for a few hours and acted like he went to prison for years and now dresses like some Mexican gangster.

He doesn't have to try to be the next Rey Mysterio, he is embracing being the first and only Dominik and it's working.
Dominik should start throwing in some Blood In Blood Out lines in his promos. Those lines from the movie are comedy gold.

Imagine being mentored by Rey, Eddie, and Konnan. I think this kid will be a world champ in due time
His first trainer was Lance Storm, someone who was trained in Stu Hart's dungeon. From there he went to train qith Jay Lethal, a promo master.
Kid has it all and he's only going to get better as he gains confidence.
Dom got a good head on his shoulders. He's one of the few young talents of his generation that actually listen. He'll go far.
Love this kid man. Cant wait till he really grows into his own

I was one of the people clowning on this guy a year or so ago. Idk if it was just the gimmick change that helped him shine or if he has been putting a lot of work in. Regardless, he's easily one of the best characters WWE has right now.

Judgement Day is great, so many people were burying the gimmick when Edge left but now it's one of the best acts in modern wrestling.
It was just the way Edge was kicked out. Should've built to wear Edge gets a big head as the "Leader" and the rest of the group eventually says "screw this, we can lead ourselves." That would've worked better and not taken much time.
@@Lord_Bibulous to be fair, that likely happened because of Vince changing his mind every few seconds. But also because both Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton got injured and they urgently needed a top face.

Guy works at a strip club, he has seen and experienced some sh*t in and out of the wrestling business.
I think that Dom is getting better as the months go on but man, he needs to be hitting the gym. He's got everything he needs to make it in wrestling apart from the look.
Yeah he has great potential, especially because it seems like he doesn't take himself too seriously and is willing to learn - but yes, he needs to either gain a ton of muscle or get shredded to make him stand out more, along with gaining a ton of strength would do wonders for him.

Right now the skinny little scumbag look works for his gimmick. But as he separates he'll have to get bigger.
I think as a heel he doesn’t have to add too much muscle mass and especially as a punk heel I think his body is good at the moment. If he turns baby face and single star then yeah a better physique is more of a must if he wants to be a top guy. Looks matter depending on the type of character.

Dominik should be given a run with the US title at some point in 2023, Austin Theory is clearly being looked at as an eventual top guy, a person like Dominik could be a great US champion.
After he's done with Rey that could definitely be something for him.

Dominik seems like a really smart person. Most other wrestlers would have quit the business or some addicted to arguing with trolls online. The guy is doing a great job.

The comments Dom made at the end about what wrestling he watches made me more of a fan of his ! Wrestle Kingdom , AAA and even older WCW lets me know he is on point in his thinking and studying and learning . Good man !

Dom is much better as a heel. He's not nearly good enough in the ring YET to get over as the kind of face that Rey is but that's because he's green and new to the profession. BUT a heel doesn't need to do crazy moves. They need psychology and I honestly feel that the heel psychology is a lost art because so many guys want to be a "cool" heel. But Dom is actually great at talking, GREAT at facial reactions (like much better at this than a lot of guys a decade or more in) and selling and great at cowardly heel psychology in the ring. He can get more comfortable in the ring while being a heel and eventually be a face in a few years. I just watched an old clip of Eddie and Rey feuding over custody of 8 year old Dom lol. I can't help but think how damn proud Eddie would be of Dom now because Eddie loved working heel and was one of the best at it.
I really hate how quickly people turned on him, one minute it was "this kids got talent just needs a few years" then that turned that to "he's the worst, he needs to leave the business" it amazed me.
daniel bryan said, "wrestling fans are fickle"...this ESPECIALLY applies to babyfaces starting their careers...the chant "Die Rocky Die" comes to mind...even Hogan had a bad guy run prior to Hulkamania if memory serves (memory on the story, I was a Hulkamaniac, but not old enough to remember him as a heel...might've been before joining WWE now that I think of it)...One of the few guys to come out as a "white meat" babyface and REALLY get OVER from recent memory was Tyler Bate. Of course, he was working an awesome program with Pete Dunne when NXT UK started and they having been seemingly good friends both trained by Trent Seven got the most out of each other. Sadly they had match of the year in NXT and Dunne ends up getting a silly name change and gimmick while Bate has been hidden away on NXT for simply TOO long. WWE could use the "big strong boy" on the main roster ASAP imo, but what do i know.
Disco gotta stop asking Dom certain questions. I'm so glad he didn't answer the politics question its a good way to get heat from the higher ups in the back.

Gotta be honest at first I kinda saw Dom as a nepotism hire that was way over his head but he had been growing on me with this new gimmick of his. Plus he has definitely improved in the ring as well.

Great interview guys! And man this kid Don is a cool kid and one of the main reasons why I watch wwe. Judgement day and Dom are the best things going on in wwe at this time and I hope they keep Don as a heel for a long time. I can’t think of someone who’s improved so quickly as this kid has and I could only imagine how great he might become if he stays at it. Again cool interview guys.

Even though it's a funny gimmick I enjoy dom being certified after spending time in county I hope he keeps it for a while
