why i bought a harley dyna, is the dyna a good bike, bikes for short riders, harley dyna low rider review ! Авто/Мото
The Dyna Low Rider has been a great middle weight cruiser for decades. It cruises, bar hops, and tours with great capability without the added weight or cost of a touring bike. When they axed the Dyna they brought the Low Rider into the soft tail lineup and everyone I knew who rode it was seriously impressed with the new chassis and new mono shock rear suspension. You basically get a Miles crushing Dyna without the old Dyna wobble. It’s a great bike either configuration. Enjoy it. 👍
Big facts! Thank you ✌
I just bought a 99 FXDX that was really well taken care of, it has a ton of upgrades like suspension, brakes and cam bearings, tensioners, etc.. I really enjoy it. Its an 88 tc. its a lot of fun. My previous bike was a 22 Lowrider s and I ended up totaling it and got messed up pretty bad, but after 5 months of recovery I am back on a bike! Love your videos! Coming from the LRS softail to the Dyna, I am loving it!
Happy to see you upgraded to the dyna! Keep an ear out for the inevitable compensator dying, its a notorious issue on the early years of the 96ci dynas. I just changed mine in my 08 low rider
Definitely one of my favorite channels. Last part had me laughing 👍
Thank you! ✌
I have a 14 FXDL and ride it everywhere..Love it
The great pumpkin god as shown us love this Autumn and we have gotten 2 videos from our Killswitch Queen in a week time. 😁 Love the Lowrider.💯🎃👑✌️🤟🤘
lol! Hopefully I can start doing 3 a week! Thank you for watching 🙌
Excellent video! I’ve got a 2012 super glide and I love it. being 5 foot six. This bike is perfect for me. : )
I think it is one of the best Harley Davidson ever built ! They ride great !
First time seeing your channel. Nice video!
I have been blessed to own a number of bikes over my 55 years of riding, from pretty much every category. The only one I have kept is my 2006 Dyna Superglide. For me, it feels like everything a motorcycle should be an I always grin like a kid when I ride it!
They are awesome! Right on, thank you
Totally agree with you, Steve. This summer I traded my 2018 BMW S1000RR for a mint con'd '06 Dyna Superglide ( 35th Anniversary model ). And I've never regretted it for one sec. This is TRUE motorcycling, IMHO. And thx to KillSwitchQueen for another awesome video! Stay safe!

You have such great taste in motorcycles. That's exactly what I have!
I’m 6’2 300lbs and I love my 04 dyna FXDI.
Cool video, i own a 06 fxdli and it’s so much fun to ride, the hardest part about customizing is the wild selection of gear for these bikes. So many ideas stay safe girl and ride that beauty.
Just bought my first bike 07 Dyna Street Bob. Enjoyed your video on changing fluids which I’ll be doing as soon as I purchase a stand. Looking forward to learning the bike and maintaining it in my own for the most part ✊🏾✌🏾
Good one Olivia! Enjoy your perspective on things
Im a Harley tech , and a piece of advice , get a “Predator” front motor mount . It will make a WORLD of difference in the way it handles , feels like its glued to the road excellent mount to replace the poorly designed stock Harley mount..
As a Harley tech out of MMi Phoenix, I fully support this comment. Also Dyna suspension can be DRASTICALLY changed for the better. From touring blocky ultras, to nimble Dynas, FXRs. Personally I like +2 and raising the rear. Not to mention inverted up front, IMO, Feel like butter when cornering at high speeds.
I’ve got this bike in a 2008. Love it
Wow, that’s a sweet bike, best of luck with it! I have an 05 Superglide & absolutely love it, Dynas are awesome bikes!
Great video!
Wow, that ending...hello.
I primarily wanted to comment just to help you out. Keep them coming!
Good video! And thank you for rocking a cup holder! Love my damn cup holder!
I have a 07' Dyna-Lowrider I'm okay with it gosh forbid hitting unseen bumps from the back shocks and the forks are spongy engine's got just enough to make it fun , yeah my forever bike
It would be good to see more of your videos. I’m not sure if I’m not getting them, or if you stopped. If you decided to stop on your own, I get it. I just wanted to see if you were still out there making them or not. I always appreciated your perspective about bikes as a woman. Just wanted you to know that.
Hey gal! Sorry I been so busy I have not watched your trip vids yet, but I have them saved and you know I will! Just wanted to say hello. And watching this vid makes me really miss my 'ol Fat Bob something fierce! 😄😄
Stay safe my Queen!
☺️
Hey no worries here! Take your time I just appreciate you thinking of watching my videos! Thank you, and you too! 🤘
Hi there from South Africa love your channel I love my 2007 HD street Bob same motor as yours, love the simplicity of the bike ,enjoy, following you on the long trip.
Greetings! Thank you, yes the motors are not complicated, any mechanic can get around one.
Got my 07 fxdl from a nice older couple from vegas.
Rode it back to Cali (first highway ride) & smiles for miles.
Hey! 5’6” woman over here, eventually getting my first bike - and considering the dyna in various forms. I have NO experience in mechanics but I want to learn. I’ve heard the advice twice now - to get non-fuel injected model/year… so that it’s easier to learn and work on… curious about your take on this??? Especially given you have the fuel injected ‘07 and taught yourself a lot… thanks for taking the time to read 🖤 amazing videos 🖤
Not a woman but I'm only 5'7" riding an 06 Dyna Wide glide. Fuel injection on bikes isn't as big of a pain as people make it out to be. Sure there are O2 sensors but they're relatively easy to get to if one goes bad. Plus side to fuel injection is you never have to adjust anything for idle or altitude changes. Unlike with modern cars the fuel injection on these is located the same place a carburetor would be
I’m rocking a 2013 Street Bob. Love my Dyna. Welcome to the club.
Thank you!! 🤘
Nice video. Thanks.
Thank you!
Dude, I love my Dyna. Let the Fudds ride their BarcaLoungers - I like this nimble bike.
Great video thank you
The first upgrade I'll make on a dyna is the rear shocks! Than the seat followed you the front shocks.
I picked up my first Harley a couple months ago…I grabbed the glacier white 06 low rider …I’m 5’11 about 215 and it came w forward controls which I do on all my bikes…stick bars for me…AWFUL I have the same 4 inch risers and bought 10 inch mini apes have a bullet fairing as well and Viking bags actually love the bike…The 103 shouldn’t have never been discontinued a bullet proof engine!! Great choice!
Awesome moves, very impressive.☺stay safe and ride safe.
If I was still on TWO wheels, this would be a bike I would consider. I also like the Softail Standard, but I wonder if the rear suspension is better than what I had on my '87 Softail Custom. Sharp bumps, like highway expansion joints, when straight to my spine and with the forward controls it was impossible to "post" like you do in horseback riding. Loved the video and, as always, Blessings!
😊
Kinda makes me miss my old dyna that I rode for 11 years. Wondering if I'll ever get another one.
Love Dynas. I have a 2008 SuperGlide and won't let her go. These bikes are awesome.
Awesome and worth hanging onto! I'm enjoying every minute 😃
Cool video thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Upgrade to a Baker compensator and manual chain adjuster and change your cam chain tensioners to the newer 08 and up hydraulic style and you'll probably never have a problem with that bike!
Twin rear shocks and having the swingarm mounted to the transmission makes the back end feel squishy/bouncy. I love my franken-glide though
That finale though.
Nice bike! how about the vibrations? I heard are a little too much
Love them
Great video, I still want a Dyna at some stage of my life :)
Best outros on youtube :D
Thanks 😄😉
I bought this year a 2006 Dyna Low rider with under 7k miles. I put a batwing fairing, Viking bags, and taller sissybar. Suspension is also my next upgrade. Problem has been out of stock parts. I waited 5 weeks from H-D for a brake master cylinder cap and seal. Thinking about doing front cartridge kit from progressive but have not decided on the rear.
Sheesh! Sounds about right though. Had trouble with master cylinder parts for months from Harley. Sometimes eBay or local shops might have goods collecting dust!
@@KillswitchQueen yeah I ended up going to Amazon until the parts arrived.
Whenever you’re in Southern California and want to ride the 2 hit me up I’m like 20 mins from the 2. It’s a great ride
great bike!
That looks dope
An an 02' FXDWG owner I welcome you to Dynaworld!
What model memphis shade fairing is on this. Watching this video got me interested in it for my 09 lowrider that i just bought.
Is that lambs wool on the seat? Does it work on long rides? My skinny butt needs some help!
big "touring" bikes are not fun. They weigh too much and gets tiresome to ride. Personally I like FXDX with mid controls and risers for long rides.
I tried a buckhorn steer and forward controls and I just felt pain after 2 hours of riding. Not everything that looks comfortable is.
I love my dyna 2017 fatbob !!! Rock on super star
Thank you! Hell yeah fun bikes!
Oh also ohlins really r the way to go for rear shocks on the Dyna
I put on ohlins non resivoir shocks and they were great on my Dyna.
Ohlins are top notch! Great suspension, I'm a fan
I did the Legend Revo A's on the back and it rides 1000% better.
Nice bike
If i ever get the financial situation where i can buy two bikes i would love to have a Dyna!
Winter time is coming, best time to pick one up 👍
I’m definitely looking for a dyna for my first bike I already have a endorsement
2007 means EFI. I would have gotten something carbureted. I hate computers on vehicles. I am a mechanic not a computer technician. Computers belong on desktops. It CAN be converted to a carburetor when the POS EFI fails (and it will)
I was also thinking of that Fortnine video with the Dyna. He talked about its propensity to death wobble. Did you experience anything like that or do anything (like mods) to prevent it?
I've experienced a little bit of wobble at higher speeds, with sudden input. The only way I avoid it, don't go too fast and don't be stupid 😂 A steering stabilizer would help if they make them, haven't checked yet!
@@KillswitchQueen My 2010 Superglide C has a bad wobble when leaned far over. Even with fully upgraded suspension. Its due to the Swingarm being attached to the Engine/Transmission instead of the Frame. Very unsafe design.
@@KillswitchQueen 4:46
Love the low rider
A great bike for sure 👍
@@KillswitchQueen cam it you will have 100hp
Motor mount stabilization will get rid of the death wobble should be high on your list.
Nice... I have the 2008 Fat Bob ... same year as you then with the 96Cube motor?
Yup same 96 motor! Fat bobs are another great model
Ending is the best part, U funny …
I like the looks of Harleys but the vibrations make my hands and feet go numb. The only one I rode that I liked was the V-Rod I hated the look of it. I have a 2008 VTX 1300 that I love. I commute back and forth to work on it and hit the road anytime that I can. You should make a patch for your last trip "5700 miles and 11 days beat that " with a so you think you can ride patch above it LOL
The new Milwaukee 8 motors are much improved in that respect, if you haven't tried one out yet.
Haha that would make a great patch! The vibrations don't feel as bad on this bike. It's pretty smooth when you're cruising. Big cushy grips help too!
What a teaser 🙂
I aim to keep them coming back!
Nice looking bike and old school rocks! (It is almost as sexy as you are ;) Sweeeeeet moves there at the end...sigh :) lol ! ) You truly have a great personality ! Hey Ms. O could you link us to that extra light your Dyna is sporting? I would love something like that for mine...maybe even a video on installation please?
Thank you!! I bought the light at a swap meet for 10 bucks... sadly there is no brand, but I can do a general install video for how to hook up a basic light switch!
@@KillswitchQueen That was surely a great find! Okay that sounds great! I have seen some slim bodied led lights that are similar...maybe I can go that route for a unit & with your expertise get LIT....Ooops I meant...be seen better!? Or both ha! Thank you very much in advance for the upcoming video...looking forward to it & more sexy dance moves!!! They should be the official Kill Switch Queen end to EVERY video IMHO! :) ^5
Enjoy your bike, I think the sissy bar looks a bit skinny for the bike. Just my opinion, oh and I think your video cut off a bit soon 😆
Belly button for the win!
Olivia please do reply my comment... I know u gotta a lot of comments....but i really love u for what u dooo........i really wish i could meet u someday
Thank you! Appreciate you watching 😄 Maybe one day!
You gona cam that up someday ?
Keep a eye on that primary chain , it gets to tight shit get fucked up. Enjoy my dude 👊
Enjoy the bike you have is probably the best way to be a happy rider. You may find a better one...latter...but you will always regret it.
True! I'll be hanging onto this one for awhile
