Made this without hot glue. It works, so don't let not having hot glue stop you from making it. Cheers!
I made his M4 with glue only, works fine exept the range of the bullets but I'll improve that)

crazyPT! I have a suggestion on improving this gun you made. First, glue a pen spring behind the trigger so you dont have to manually reset the trigger, and Second, i think you can make a shell for it, like a nerf gun. The parts and mechanism are inside, and the shell covers the entire thing to make it look decent. I tried making a nerf gun version of this, with some minor modifications of course, and it worked wonderfully!

You must be crazy good at rolling joints.
You know you could make a small trigger recoil system with a rubber band that just bounces the trigger back to it's default position, then you wouldn't have to manually reset the trigger each time.
Or a pen spring.

1)The trigger keeps hitting something that nothing was blocking it
2)The gun broke when i pull the trigger
3)Bullets won't be fired
4)The gun bends when i pull the trigger
5)The trigger won't go to the very end

1) make bullets less wide
2) once you glue tubes together put glue on sides as well
3) make thicker barrels by rolling construction paper on the short side
4) when you make trigger to push up plunger dont squeeze it together like he does, instead fill it with hot glue then let dry the cut it at an angle.
5) apply super glue on all ends of barrels and on the end of the trigger that pushes up plunger

glue a short roll or paper, like the size of a bullet, on the top of the plunger to prevent it from getting stuck. That always works for me.

I can't get the magazine function to work. It always gets jammed even if the bullet is in just fine. Any ideas? Other than that it works great single firing.

In 11:47 when he shoots the bullet it does not comes out. There is an option in my laptop when I press greater than or lesser than symbol It goes forwards or backwards a frame. I even checked by pressing the symbols.

Regular paper, for printers.
Yeah, you can cut up the A4 papers into smaller sizes. You can even implement card if you want to.

at 3:01 when you are measuring where to cut the gap for the magazine, what measurements are you using? I see it is 7... i used 7cm and the magazine was at one side to much, and i tried 7inch but the paper wasn't even that big.

I had the same problem. I left a bit of paper hanging out after taping the rubberband into the paper bit and bent it down. It was about a half a centimeter.
There is a little piece he pushes back at the end to reset the trigger :)

Zoos I mean 14 and it's exact what happened to me when I pull trigger it stays on.. My two guns are failed but I'll keep practicing because Elbert Einstein also failed 1097 times while making a bulb

u can use a4 it works better as less temperamental
I suggest u should put a spring behind the trigger before you cover it with the flattened strip of paper it saves the time to pull back the trigger after u shoot and makes it feel like a real gun

It was glue to keep the paper inside of it together he continued to push it back so it won't stay on the paper...
Pretty sure it's just glue to strengthen the ends of the paper that will be hit constantly when fired
U should make a web site where u can allow people to print out the template that will make it easier for people to make it

For all the people that's trigger gets stuck it's because of the adhesive glue u need or u can cut the edge so it slides off easier

Everything is correct when I do, but when I put the rubber on the magazine, the gun does not fire, the bullet is stuck.
