Choosing sin over God cuts us off from God. It's been that way since the beginning.

No joke actually had a pastor tell me the sins of the pharasse's was to obey God too much
and the 2nd biggest sin is to believe Jesus when he told us we can be free from sin,
Both of these are worse than any other sin according to them l even heard Paul washer say even brag or as his fans would say is he is showing how humble he is when we went on to say after 25 years in ministry he still has Idolatry in his practical everyday life
Doctrines of demons comes from Augustine, brought to every church through Luther or Calvin dep on which church, evil men who love their sin and were even murderers and violent men

I know of a man who grieved the spirit to the point of unbelief. He tells me he felt God early in life in his teens, and he went to church but then he became a little thug. He beat people up who he felt were bad people, and he busted cars and sold drugs. He was a bad dude, and years iinto his choices he realized God was no longer with him, and he wwent crying back to church. He didn't go to church, per se, but he would visit the steps late at night and weep asking for forgiveness. Then he tried being the best and sinless person possible for years, but he knew he wasn't giving up his mind and his heart. Then he sought answers to why he felt so condemned, and he realized he just wasn't letting go of his sin and some things the Bible considered to be sin were things he just didn't feel ashamed of doing, and he didn't believe they were actually sin. Then years went by and he got more and more distant. One day he didn't realize it at first, but he just woke up "not" believing in God. I came to him in desperation because I, too, realized I was going to hell at one point and he just laughed saying "haha, I've been there buddy" and he told me his story. He told me he felt he knew god too, went through the same condemnation for years and thought to himself "Why am I punishing myself and wrecking my life? Obviously whatever it is God wants me to change I'm NOT going to change, so why am I letting this fear hold me back?" And he told ke eventually it just magically lifted off of his back and he never thought about God or religion again. I tried explaining to him that it IS real and that he CAN turn back, and he said "Whelp, I guess I tried but I didn't try hard enough haha. Go ahead and pray for me if you want but it's nothing to me." And now he says he may not have a god or religious belief system anymore, but he has himself- and in himself he trusts. It's a terrifying thing to think about, I pray for him and I truly do believe God will call his child back again but if you were to directly talk to my friend about it, it's very clear he has no care or thought about it at all. I live in condemnation, but I refuse to let go of my belief regardless. God turned me around once and I pray he turns me around again, but who knows. My friend's story is terrifying to think about, I couldn't imagine turning back to blissful ignorance like I lived through the first half of my life.

Very well presented. It's amazing how many denominations teach Once saved always saved. Scripture is crystal clear about how Satan's constant attacks, which come in many forms, in order to lure us into constant sin and twisting of scriptures in order to justify those sins. There's a huge difference between sinning by mistake, or letting our guard down for the momentary pleasures of the flesh, and willful sin without repentance.

So how many times if I sin against God until I lose salvation and how can I get back to salvation? And Paul said he wanted to do right all the time but he couldn’t, do you think he lost his salvation?

    • @humbertothebeliever2443
      @humbertothebeliever2443 Год назад

@@inaciadiaz7366 ..Remember what Paul said after he talked about his battle with sin in Romans 7:25. He said
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin..........We battle the flesh with the equiping of the mind with the word.
It's different if you're struggling with sin. For example, I was addicted to drugs and pornography. For many years I didn't think those were sinful things, so I didn't feel convicted. But when I started taking Bible studies with the Jehovas Witnesses and emphasis was made in honoring Jehova and walking, both mentally and physically in holiness, then I realize the things I was doing were sinful. I began to feel convicted. But I had to struggle with the addictions, so I kept sinning, feeling guilty, asking God for forgiveness. I was fighting a spiritual battle and I wasn't winning. Till one day, during a Bible study, after we opened with a prayer, I felt like the hypocrite I was. My Bible teacher noticed my sadness and asked me, and I told him. He said, "Satan has you chained, but Jehovah is stronger and can set you free". "Continue to pray, Bible study and attending church service and Satan's power over you will be broken". So I did that. I prayed in the morning, on my way to work, in the bathroom, on my way home and even after waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I asked Jehovah, I can't to this alone. I need your help. I will do my part and you do yours. It took me a month to stop 8 year drug habit. I began to hate it, as the Bible says, Hate what is bad (Romans 12:9). I was so happy when my desire to do those things eneded.. Still Im. The porno was a back n forth struggle, but little by little it got to the point that I realized there was not point to it, and it was dishonoring Jehovah. My life changed completely. I feel peace and joy that God reached out to me when I asked him for help. I thank him for delivering from those evils. I no longer listen to immoral music or movies. I stopped cursing and having lustful thoughts. As you learn to draw close to Jehovah, you will discern Satans tricks that he uses to get you to sin. It comes to a point that our love for Jehovah has to be greater than our habitual sin. Jesus told us to love God above all things. When I read about Jesus, I see a constant pattern of obedience and love towards God. Jesus never comprimised his love for Jehovah, even the torture stake was not enough to keep him from fulfilling his mission. So if Jesus had the power to go through the torture stake for our sake, then you should have the willingness and power to stop any habitual sin as long as you stay close to God.. That's how we have to demonstrate our love to Jehovah. Sure we're gona stumble and sin from time to time, but God will give you the power to break up any sin that Satan has you bound. BELIEVE THAT! God bless you and may the Lord give you victory over whatever is that you're struggling with.:-)

As an Atheist, we don't concern ourselves with sin or Devils or Gods for that matter and there's something very liberating about living your life without fear of these things.. We can actually live a good and moral life and know that it is ultimately important. I am accountable to myself and I know that I have no easy out that religious people believe they have. The point is well being for yourself and others. We should never feel bad about what human nature has caused us to do unless it harms others. Lusting after a person is a natural thing and it has undoubtedly led to the population we have now. Also, coveting is what builds nations, we want what others have and we work hard to achieve it. To teach people that they are bad cannot result in a positive outcome. If there is some sort of judgement, I am comfortable in knowing that I will be in good stead with God.

I live to not harm others or myself as far as I can help it. I don't need to believe in unproven God's or devils because that is irrational. Much like yourself , as I have walked for the Lord for decades , I find I have a deep LOVE and HUNGER for the Words that God speaks...NOT the words that men spew forth under their own understanding for their own motives and intentions. I can tell that you find God's Word more than enough to fulfill our spiritual needs , enrichment and doctrinal standards...this is why we are complete in Christ...we KNOW the Word that He has left for us to grow thereby...and it is JOYFULLY ENOUGH !! We do NOT need a charismatic , charming well-credentialed positive thinking salesman with a new contemporary , entertaining methodology...God's Word is ENOUGH to make us complete !!!!

Am I missing something in Hebrews chapter 12, for what Father would put his child to death, and give up on them, where would be the Love, Mercy, and Grace. Even if I go to hell, Jesus has shown me, no greater love is there than to lay down your own life for another, and I'll keep fighting the good fight, and running the good race with all my heart, for I don't ever overlook the Grace of God, Praise Jesus Amen.

When we grieve the Holy Spirit we loose a sense of His presence yet does it depart completely if you still want to believe and not totally reject the Lord (the Word says we are sealed by the Holy spirit for the day of redemption) ? How would you advise getting back fellowship, discernment, conviction after grieving the Holy Spirit os there a way back to the joy of salvation ?

I'm going through the process and experience right now and it is absolutely terrible beyond words. 😢 😩😫 ...
I also feel the darkness on my soul and spirit for such a stupid silly mistake as allowing myself to be a prodigal son at my age of 36 years old... Still searching for a wife but engaging and much physical intimacy when I went out to the Philippines in the past year of 2023. I almost died January 1st (the same day my dad died approximately 15 years ago in the driver's seat of the car I was sitting next to him in)
Of a heart attack like my dad died also driving... But in the moment I cried out to the Lord and survived I was sleeping with my fiance at the time but trying to get married and do the right thing... However after that I decided to come back to the United States and pick up my Bible and get back on my face before God and do the right thing. (As was always my ultimate goal) However this process in the past 9 months has been so overwhelmingly difficult and my understanding is so skewed as to how/why I'm still in a place of spiritual darkness. (I'm so frightened) 😫

I have been reading about putting on the whole armour of God. Ephesians 6:18 , does that mean speaking in tongues? In conversations with others that believe in speaking in tongues would use that verse to validate it. I don’t want to talk out of place using my opinion. Could you clarify this verse?

    • @dylanapfelmann7461
      @dylanapfelmann7461 Год назад

Hi, Mjoinga! I believe in the gift of speaking in tongues and I do not believe this verse refers to that gift.
Paul says to "pray in the Spirit at all times," but in 1 Corinthians 12:27-31, Paul says that believers are like different parts of a body, all necessary, but with different functions and abilities. He lists speaking in tongues as one such "part" that some people are, but not everyone is.
So Paul wouldn't tell all believers to speak in tongues when not all can.
"In the Spirit" simply refers to someone being taken over by the will of God, which all believers can, and will increasingly, have happen.
"You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him."
      Romans 8:9
So to "pray in the Spirit" means to pray in alignment with God's will, not selfishly or worldly.
"If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
      John 15:7
I hope this helps. God bless you!

Shame on them for applying scripture’s for the nonbelievers to the genuine believers a form of pride and also to get views. When they should be trying to teach weak believers how to be more holy they condemn them instead.
    Romans 14-3-4
“The one who eats everything must not belittle the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand”

Then for Eph- 1:13-14 when it says you are sealed for the day of Redemption it said the word “Sealed” and in Roman 4:11 it says the word “Seal” of Righteousness which is a “Sign” of Righteousness while the other is saying “Sealed” which means something is closed or Shut while we can Argue if the seal can be Broken or not I think it’s starting to look a Bit Dishonest when you are Trying to compare 2 different words with 2 obviously different meanings.

Once saved always saved is a bad name for the concept of eternal security. I totally get why that label can lead someone into thinking once they made an initial confession to Christ they can do whatever they want and they have a ticket to heaven. That is a demonically slippery slope that will send a lot of people to hell. But the Bible teaches that our salvation is not of our own doing and that our fruits are a symptom of our salvation NOT a cause. A person who claims to be Christian but does not produce good fruit is not Christian. Jesus said “I NEVER knew you” he didn’t say “I used to know you but now I don’t”. Once you have been truly bought by the blood of Christ the Spirit will cause you to endure until the end, He will cause you to walk in righteousness. Once saved always saved is a bad name for a very biblical concept. If you can over power the Holy Spirit and lose your salvation then how many sins does it take to do so and what does it take to gain it back? You start to go down this road of works based salvation when your salvation is not of your doing at all. If you didn’t cause your salvation then it’s not yours to lose.
And actually you can’t definitively say that verse 29 is talking about a believer being sanctified. That verse refers to John 17:19 where Jesus says He will sanctify Himself. I believe the “he” who is sanctified is Jesus not the supposed apostate believer. Scripture in my view is clear that only believers are saved by the power of the Holy Spirit and therefore cannot get snatched away. If we have the power to lose our salvation then that weakens the power of the Holy Spirit.

English translations sometimes don’t translate 100% from the original languages. Yes I believe your label is much better.

Oh yeah...people can lose the salvation of Christ.
All they have to do is just believe in a church or denomination, and listen to them instead of listening to God. In Scripture it speaks about endurance (in faith). If a person can't endure to the end, then they can't endure into salvation, because they couldn't endure to have Faith in the Only One who can save their soul.

Jesus is the only One that offers salvation of their life.
If they decide Jesus isn't important, and decide to live a life that doesn't involve obeying Him, then they are tossing their salvation(the only One who can save them..Jesus) to the side.
No one can TAKE someone out of salvation, but someone can VOLUNTEER to walk away from salvation (from Jesus), believing they will still be saved even after walking away from obedience to the Holy Spirit.

He is the guide to all truth.
    He glorifies the Son.
We take these two alone is enough to put a good foundation down.
Grieving means to be sorrowed, downtrodden, saddened. Mostly, He is grieved when we do not adhere to the truth. When we walk a different path, we seek our own truth. It is a slow turn away from Him to the point where compromise comes, more and more until we have our own "truth" and we have no idea the Holy Ghost left or is not around.

You completely missed the context of Hebrews. The writer was speaking to Hebrews that had come out of the old covenant, into the new as followers of Christ. Under persecution or pressure some were returning to Judaism and the writer tells them clearly that there is no way to be justified under the old covenant. There is no more sacrifice, because it has been made once for all by Christ.
There is NO doubt that a person cannot be in Christ and then out of Christ. One cannot be an offspring of God and then not be an offspring of God. Being saved, inheriting the kingdom or its benefits, etc. all relate to life in the kingdom of God and have nothing to do with eternal destiny or position as sons and daughters of God. Apples and oranges.

Spend some time seeking the answer..
"What does a 'Life' changed person look like
Better yet, what is "Once I was blind, and now I see" ?
Sin, sinning, sins, go deeper than the surface of actions that can be seen
"The heart is ( Desperately ) Wicked".
To 'err' is human, but the "Born again", now "Sees" Sin, as never before
"Come out from among them, and I will receive you".
The blindness is to Sin, and not to God
"The natural mind cannot receive the things of God....."
The Life of Salvation must have a beginning, and a 'Maintenance' in progression.
    Both require God's intervention,
"Without ME, you can do nothing".
And, once in the State of Grace, Sin, sins become more evident, more abhorred, more disgusted with.
If the person professing Salvation doesn't literally HATE sin, then something is wrong.
The conduct can be simulated, faked and even counterfeited.
Real salvation is a Shining light in which only the holy Spirit is seen.
The Fruits, but the power of His resurrection.
A Life lived in victory, walking in the Holy Spirit WHO is pleased to remain within.
Saul had no clue that the HG had left him.
Getting truly Born again, renders the recipient aware what Life had been like. One lost in sins and trespasses.
Now, a godly sorrow for deeds done in the body, with a longing to remain clean and freed.
And without Christ living within, no human power on earth can overcome the lusts of the flesh, nor the temptations of satan.
    Get truly born again.

Sin grieves the Holy Spirit thats true. But to walk a holy life you need the anointing of the Holy Ghost and be building yourself up continuously by praying in the Holy Ghost. It is impossible for any Christian to defeat sin on his own strength. Not allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your life grieves the Holy Spirit. The Gift of the Holy Spirit are tools you need to develop your faith walk. A gift is something of value. God has not given us meaningless gifts that we don't need. Unless your inner spiritual man is build up by the help of the Holy Spirit you will always be dominated by your carnal nature.

Everyone born under the sun has sinned and fallen short of God's glory, according to Romans 3:23. Furthermore, all sins are the result of our sinful nature. Worse, even those who manage to avoid even the most minor transgression are living in sin, because "death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam (Romans 5:14)." In short, you are a sinner not because of your sins, but because you are a sinner despite your sins.
So, your thrashing around in the sea of your sin nature cannot "rid your soul of one dark blot," but thank God for Jesus, "whose blood can cleanse each spot."

Yahusha which you call jesus show you the way by fulfilling it so you will follow in his footstep and do as he did ... the sign that the father perform thru the son was to show the people that he is the messiah ... Salvation is the GIFT of God. We can't earn it or lose it, because it doesn't depend on our performance. Once our sins are imputed to Christ, and His Righteousness imputed back, we have no sin (see below). Out works will be tried by fire. We cannot lose salvation, it's a gift:
    1 Corinthians 3:14-15 KJV
*_If any man's work abide_* which he hath built thereupon, *_he shall receive a reward._*
[15] *_If any man's work shall be burned,_* he shall suffer loss: *_but he himself shall be saved;_* yet so as by fire.
    Romans 6:22-23 KJV
But now *_being made free from sin,_* and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, *_and the end everlasting life._*
[23] For the wages of sin is death; but *_the gift of God is eternal life_* through Jesus Christ our Lord.
