    Great explanation! The 128kb MP3 effect in the voices is not needed though ;)

      Yes, we almost recorded it again because we didn't have the microphone that day. This will be fixed for our future videos. Glad you enjoyed it though mate :)

      That Waves WNS / Skype effect :P
      That being said, this really is a fantastic session. Thanks for sharing.

    nice video and the main question that I try to understand. Assume i have a Trinnov system that optimizes my room and when I record the trinnov optimized audio path in my room, then how does that translate to other peoples rooms? e.g. i have a clear room issue, but when i listen to published artits the audio still sounds relatively great, but when listen to my home studio mix, I just get frustrated regardless if i mix on the headphones or monitors. Im afraid that when the Trinnoc optimizes for my room and record that, it still sounds like junk in other peoples rooms. Does that question make sense? for sure i not fully understand the logic of the system yet, but thats what I like to get to. ...

    Interesting, just wondering about Trinnov, coming from Sonarworks myself i assume you noticed a huge improvement over SW? I wondered for a moment if you had the same montiors as me (Boulder MK2s) because your 'before' curves are incredibly similar (from 300-10k) in the areas where I know the Boulders themselves deviate from flat. Anyways, big investment, worth it?

    Hi! Is there a video explaining how to add a sub to Trinnov and how to think about crossover and so?. Best/Mathias

      @@IglesiasWoodlandsStudio Thanks. I have the Adam S3V in my room that is not so big but i want to hear a little more down in the sub so i gonna test with a sub. I use Trinnov ST2 Pro.

    Great breakdown. That 80Hz dip coming out immediately from the speakers is concerning. Did you play around with the positioning? Could be a phase cancellation issue.

    • @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio
      @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio  3 года назад +1

      Hey, been playing around with it a lot yes. It’s something I want to fix but may need a professional to come in and take some measurements. Trinnov does a great job and sorting this out but of course will reduce overall headroom so it’s the next piece of the puzzle!

      @@IglesiasWoodlandsStudio Ok but would it be a big deal if headroom is reduced? After all you would/should not be blasting your speakers

    Nice video! So, if I get the Trinnov it doesn't matter if I have a pair of crappy speakers with a sub or a top of the line PMC/ATC speakers that they will sound the same?

    • @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio
      @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio  3 года назад

      Of course, better monitors will result in more clarity. But Trinnov will essentially try to take the room out of the equation. This means that you can listen to the music and the speakers capabilities in their true form without having the room have an interference with it all.

    Sorry guys :) you´re talking about the "TRINNOV ST2 Pro" ! and the interview is recorded with a RODE NT1 ? sorry again, that is why the Sound quallity is so poor.
    or what has happened ? you are sitting in a Studio :) ?? !!

    • @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio
      @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio  2 года назад

      Take your sassy attitude elsewhere haha. All seriousness we usually use a Vanguard V4 but it was being repaired. We did consider not recording a video but as it was about giving away free information, we thought it doesn’t matter which mic we use. The NT1 is an awful mic, but it was the only one we had that day.

      I actually commented already about this subject. We didn't have the mics in on the day but decided to record a video anyways. If you could let me know any specific information from the video that you don't trust I would be more than willing to re-explain it for you :)

      @@IglesiasWoodlandsStudio The video is actually very nice, Iwas wondering how it compares to Acourate, and some information is useful, but the vo's gouged my ears :))) not pleasant for 10+ minutes.

    • @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio
      @IglesiasWoodlandsStudio  2 года назад +1

      @@Execu Yeah, the audio is not the best which we knew prior to recording but to be honest, it's about information which is why we decided to upload in the end. I have watched 1000s of tutorials, reviews and videos and often the best ones are the ones that aren't try haha. Soon as I see some 8K camera set up etc with unbelievable sound I think to myself - this is just an ad haha...
      In response to your question I have not used the Acourate, but from a quick google the first thing I would say is that you have to use one operating system for your DAW (+ everything else) as well as the software. If you were to someone make Trinnov into software, you would need some kind of super computer to power it.
