It's absolutely critical the conductor and orchestra, not just the soloist, have to be in synch as a cohesive unit, to produce the beautiful sound displayed here. Bravo!!!
A very unique Korean name meaning "Sound of Spring" for a beautiful and charming violinist. I'm a casual fan of classical music, and never heard this Mozart violin concerto until now. Wow, this is now one of my favorite classical pieces to listen to, so I keep coming back. Thank you Bomsori for such a pure, inspirational rendition of this beautiful concerto, and your lovely smile! 봄소리님 연주 즐겨 듣다보니 연주가 잘 되었을 때.. 아니 거의 매 번 맨 끝에 나오는 아저씨 미소가 트레이드네요. 안심되는 미소 ? 안심 시키는 미소 ? 암튼 여리고 섬세한 연주 뒤에 아저씨 미소가 처음엔 좀 뜨악 했는데 볼수록.. 홀마크 같은 느낌입니다. 공부 열심히 한 티가 팍팍 나는 연주.. 그간의 노력과 타고난 재능이 빛을 발하는 시간이 온거에요.

Bomsori plays many classics without notes, from memory. It is impossible to endure her sensitive playing calmly. It is still difficult to believe in her reality. Bomsori is completely immersed in music and lives in it. Sometimes Bomsori extracts such human sounds from her violin that freezes the skin. And it feels that Bomsori can easily extract a musical phrase creatively, differently on the fly.

@Lea'Nya Ferguson I think you may have misunderstood my meaning - it was a compliment, and one which I consider, as a double bass player/musician, to be perhaps one of the greatest compliments I could ever hope to receive. Some of the greatest blues singers often talk about finding their "crying voice" - and indeed, all musicians, whatever their instrument, should seek to find its crying voice. One of the greatest inspirations I ever came across was from a horn player, who spoke thus of the double bass; "The Cello shines in music that's emotional feel is happy with a slight hint of sadness in it, like a parent watching their child graduate high school and going to college, proud of their child and hopeful of the future, yet their heart breaking from their child growing up and become their own adult. The Bass, however, is the king of pure sorrow. It's lows are so dark and colorful and it's highs are so soft and light, it's like the weeping of a mother who's lost her child. The lows resonate loudly the moaning of pure grief and the high range sounds as if the instrument's voice is crying and unable to get it's voice to speak. I'm a brass player but I'd chop my left leg off to have grown up in a school system with an orchestra program to become a bass player."

Of the five or so violin concertos composed by Mozart, this one is my favorite. Of the live performaces of this "Turkish" concerto available on RUclips, this rendition by Bomsori is by far the best! Interestingly, I heard she will be performing this same concerto with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl tonight (Sept 5). I wish I could be there....
