Because Wilson got up to his level, that's why Maxwell slowly became more hunched over as the adventure progresses.

I don't play the game but boy do I love their animations, I hope one day we see a full cartoon series based on this cause that I would definitely watch
if a stronger Lunar Magic is Planar damage that pierce enemy's defense, I wonder what a stronger Shadow Magic will do? will it be a shadow equivalent of Planar damage? as shadow magic usually take a toll on user's sanity, perhaps a stronger weapon, but taking away sanity by each hit? also, an all out war between Lunar and Shadow "faction" will be disastrously awesome! can't wait to see how the Constant will change!

I think i have noticed something, when wigfrid is prepared to fight, she had his typical "mean/confident" face, but when she is surprised by the strange creature, his face was a lot different

HOLY- we're rebuilding the Alter with the Wilson Rework resource, and the moon is trying to corrupt the Constant, new lunar forge with moon gear to fight off the nightmares which will surely be making a massive pushback in the next update. God I love these, never fails to make me hyped, been wanting to play DST again but burned out hard years ago, been waiting till enough updates come out to get back into it and I think its almost there

If there's a portal to light, there is also a portal to darkness. Charlie won't go down without a fight. I hope she becomes a real playable character once she is defeated, like Maxwell.
I am so amazed that the game I still remember to just be circles connected with paths appears to grow so much. I just wish that all the DST content was added in the single-player variant (Reducing prep time for crab king from 50 days to 15 days for example) as well. And I hope that this game will never cease to bore me.
Damn I remember when don’t starve require you to put grass into the science machine to get science points and how everything was so basic is and now look where we are time sure does fly but I’ll never forget the cool Easter eggs of maxwell slowly being revealed via images
So Charlie is making some sort of portal. What if she is trying to escape as well? If she is, there might be a point where she ends up helping the survivors, after all, she isn't inherently evil, she just got corrupted somehow. Plus, there is always the possibility of her not actually being corrupted and just playing along to throw off the masterminds. Of course, I could be completely off about this, but I do think it would be cool.
That portal is the one the ancients used and summoned some unspeakable evil that wiped them out. It can be seen on the murals they left behind. Good images were released from the Metheus puzzles. There is some cool lore that this civilization used nightmare fuel. It is a great advantage but a great cost. The cost was that they eventually became the shadow creatures. It seems she is trying to reopen it. For what purpose is unknown. But, I feel it is nefarious and not to help the survivors. The moon seems to be the opposite force to the shadow creature from the original portal. It is gearing up for one final battle between the two and I think Charlie will get more then she bargained for when she opens the portal. Possibly becoming a shadow monster herself. Or "them" are using her as a puppet all along.
Ends, shall draw near. No doubt, from the corrupting moon rifts, and Charlie's reconstruction of the ancient gateway... ... ... ... Another battle, maybe one final... Between Lunars and nightmares.. Is about to unfold.

I remember seeing the beta and wanting to play due to it looking so unique and amazing artistically, thanks for being such a big part of my gaming life I’ll always hold Don’t starve as one of my favourites! Animations are always 10/10 too you’re animators deserve a lot of praise!

I know it's been a few years already, but I love how Charlie was the personification of the shadows, and slowly put herself back together.
I just love finding there will always be new ways to die in Don't Starve

The moon isn't a distraction to the survivors. It is trying to fight off the shadows as they grow. The moon couldn't care less about the survivors.
