btw now I know that her mother thought of her as an abomination and the lore but I still think that situation of the lore isn’t the greatest and it’s kinda understandable(not really); cuz you how old the lore is
to be fair if I recall correctly Shyvana's mother is on the hunt for her because she considers her a human tainted abomination and she's literally fighting for her life. Why she's so set on killing other dragons I don't' know :'D

When my friends wanted me to play league they said every champions have a lore. I started playing Cho'gath, then I searched for his lore and I'm still searching.
They really need to work on Gragas lore cuz right now he's lore is just fat drunk who likes to fight...

Those pictures in Shyvana's and the Dragonguard card arts can't be the battle with Yvva, because their armor looks specifically made for Shyvana and her squad, no way they had those when they just met before fighting the dragon.
So when shyvanna arrived, she had that armor that her parent mage gave to her before they got separated, after the fight, they saw the potential of that kind of armor and how it can absorb damage from fire, after the fight happened they started using this armor
What the guy above said or could just be artist mistake or inconsistently on purpose so you could seperate her from a normal dragon by art alone.

You forgot Ionia also has some dragons (for example Empyrean *the cloud looking dragon) and in future expansion there might be more dragons from Ionia too (or even other regions)
i hadnt realized they actually made that card a dragon until my egghead researcher made one. when targon came it wasnt, then when shyvana came it was

Makes sense really, Lee Sin is all about being "The Dragon's Will" and even has a whole monastery dedicated to them (Claws of the Dragon, Eye of the Dragon and etc).

Food for thought: What if the Dragonguard's Armor is actually made of scales that fell off of Shy while in her dragon form? Would make sense as to why it's red as well.
It would actually make sense, it's not like they change her armor when she transforms, so the scales she has in her dragon form are actually a part of her and not armor.
This reminds me of the time I found a Shyvana×Jarvan sticker glued on a classroom door in my highschool, although I never met someone who played LoL there.
By the way, dragons also exist in Ionia.
Necrit probably isn't aware, but there are Ionian cards in Legends of Runeterra that have the "Dragon" tribe, like the Empyrean and the (no surprise) Dragonling.
There's also an Order of the Dragon in Ionia, you know, Lee Sin's clan. Forgot the official name.
Irelia also says to asol something like "we have 100 different species of dragons in ionia, not interested."
I legit just forgot to mention the Emyrian. :S The Researcher has a quote for him too.

Honestly I really hope they give us some lore after Shyvana rework whenever it happens. Entire demacia is in chaos but Shyvana as one the strongest characters there is not mentioned and then she shows up in Viego cinematic not as 15m dragon but 5m. I hope they do give some explanations to what the hell happened to her for all this time.
Glad her story still is this cool. her voiceactress being back for LoR is really impressive too!
I love how detailed the lore of lol is, and the fact that some lore is supported by LoR makes it even better.
Also I just love the theme of a dragon shapeshifter patrolling the borders while hiding her true identity to the citizens of the country but at the same time trusted by the soldiers at the border.

I really like the idea behind her but I don't really like her current gameplay. The only viable way to play her right now seeems to go full ap jg and oneshot or get oneshoted.

My headcanon is that Anden was one of the founding members of the Dragonguard, given he is much older. Explaining why he has quotes toward the Stalking dragon, because that was before the Dragonguard were properly established, and had their red armor.
This means the dragon at the end of "before glory" cinematic is actually shyv mother in the past ( since fiora and garen look younger in that video )
Ship? I think J4 specifically stated "loved" as in past tense. Maybe when Shyvana went back with J4 to the capital they fell in love, but for some reason they broke it off resulting in Shyvana being stationed at Wrenwall?

The dragon guards armor looks a lot like something you'd see in the Conqueror skinline
I want to see more about Poppy, my favorite yordle. I want to see how she feels about this whole Demacia civil war, I feel she would be more on the mages side. I am also curious how she even was able to be in Demacian territory especially since she is a yordle, I feel most Demacians would be really scared of her. Unless she did something really heroic, because there is no way she could disguise herself unless she knew how to get that Yordle disguise stuff.

J4 mentioned someone he "once loved". If that's Shyvana, then he no longer loves her because Rome and Juliet kind of thing and they needed to separate. Then after the civil war, when mages and humans start coexisting peacefully, they will be back together.
Or it's just that Shyvana wants to keep protecting the borders and J4 is busy running the kingdom.

If you see necrits previous video on shyvanna´s lore, it explains that the mages magic enters shyvanna´s egg when he stole it, wich is what made her half human.
Shyvana's has been reworked and rewritten twice so there is no straight answer
Her lore I mean
the old lore said shyv's father was killed by another dragon (i don't remember her mother being mentioned but it's safe to assume she was human) and that jarvan was hunting that same dragon so they formed an alliance

This just proves even further that Shyavana needs a visual update ASAP!
I will reiterate that I think/hope Jarvan is just playing dumb while keeping his cards hidden until he knows who's responsible for his father's assassination. Hanging out with a half-dragon whose magic is only concealed with general self-denial isn't going to support the ruse of an emotionally compromised son trying to avenge his father by oppressing mages.
Though it just occurred to me that depending on when Shyvana's hunt was, she might be laying low for her reasons as opposed to Jarvan's, and will end up resurfacing to talk right when it's the most disruptive. Not that she'll try to cause more trouble. She'll just want to talk with one of the people she trusts most, but by law of narrative, that will almost certainly be an inopportune moment. That said, getting past a dragon is no easy feat, so she should be able to handle most threats, and do a darn good job of protecting Jarvan.

I don't think Shyv's dragon form card is an artwork of her battle with Yvva since we can see the dragonguard behind her, meaning she was already a demacian soldier, wearing the dragon guard armor, etc

I like how targon have this godly creatures that has the ability to destroy planets and the only thing that keep them in check are the aspects.
This is an interesting discussion of one of the most terrifying junglers in the hands of an experienced player. Shyvana is a nigh unstoppable objective taking god that is very difficult to avoid her devastating torrents of fire (that increase in damage depending on AP) and her vicious basic attacks that scale off AD if you live long enough to get close.
Shyvana's only real weak stage of the game is mostly early game after that she is in general a major terror to everything but other hyperscaling champions like Veigar and even they have to play against her well or die.
I hope we get more draconic champions in future - I really like the idea of playing a character like Shyvanna, but I can't play jungle at all, and I'm not good enough at mid to risk trying her there either.

Well Ionia has dragons and it was confirmed before even LoR was released. For example Irelia mentioned that Ionia has over 200 species of talking dragons (so there are more species of none talking dragons in Ionia am guessing)
We also know of Dragons in Ionia. From LoR, The Empyrean is a Dragon. There is also one art on Universe where a dragon is attacking an Ionia market

Kadregrin is the infernal drake that we get in Summoner's rift in LoL. Because, internally it was called the infernal drake and also if you notice, Kadregrin is the only dragon which is quadrapedal. The rest are all bipedal with wings acting as their arms. The only other quadrapedal dragons that we know are the elemental drakes in SR

Also Ionia has Dragons, in two of the Ionia cards called The Empyrean and Dragonlings that are generated from Eye of the Dragon.
