It is a 25-foot-tall statue depicting the famous image of a sailor kissing a nurse from WWII. This is an ideal spot for couples, especially parents and grandparents, to show their affection and commitment and recreate the statue. It's a perfect place to express your love to someone. However, behind the beautiful image is a dark story. It is said that the nurse was molested by the sailor. This serves as a stark reminder that there's more than meets the eye.
