  • It's like setting and breaking the pattern, but I set the pattern, then speed it up, then slow it down, then change to another pattern - there miiiiiiight be a better way to explain that, but I'm not sure. Also this is the LAST video with my pony tail - tune it Wednesday for a fresh new short haircut!

What does ASMR stand for? Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.
What is ASMR? ASMR meaning? To me, it's a really cool sensation that some of us get in response to some auditory (sound - whispers, tapping, hand sounds) or visual triggers (hand movements, watching someone focus, draw, paint, etc. or personal attention). For some it's a tingling or vibrating feeling often felt in the head, neck, shoulders, and/or back, and can change based on different triggers. It can feel like a brain massage or just a relaxing feeling all over.
Many people use ASMR to sleep. I use ASMR mostly for work - it helps me relax, block out distractions, and focus (usually, sometimes it's a distraction, but at least it's a relaxing distraction!) I've tried to use it for sleep, but I end up actually staying awake because I love to listen to it and can't help but watch. BUT, I hope my ASMR helps those of you who use it for sleep, just as much as it helps someone using it to just relax, zone out, destress, focus, or bring down some anxiety.

Your energy is so calming. I'm sure your life gets crazy and hectic and stressful like the rest of us but it seems like the minute you turn on the camera that stress melts away and you get so focused on creating great ASMR sounds. That calming energy really shines through and is almost more comforting to me than the actual sounds ❤

You're exactly right! It's so weird - I can be stressing about 100 things and almost not film, then once I get going I get in the zone (as cheesy as that sounds!) I love it! Thank you so much for the amazing compliment!

I absolutely love the brush and scissors patterns. Would really enjoy some sort of hair cutting quasi role play that incorporated that.

I do some of that in by barber roleplay, I think? But, I definitely want to do another hair cutting video at some point. So glad you enjoyed it!

Another awesome video. The Qtip box, who knew? So tingly.

“Beating heart” squishy ball around 5:10 was the first strong tingle for me. 👍🏻 Always love a good pair o’ scissors too... the plucking motions along with that were great. Consonant-heavy whispers definitely added a perfect tingly touch to some other moments in this vid. Tks
