If you're getting attention for your looks, you're not being treated as a person. You're being treated as a pretty object. That's not who you actually are and those who make it their identity will have trouble once that fades.
This is something attractive women are more sensitive to. If you've never had classical beauty, then you're not going to notice much difference in the attention society gives you.
A person cannot worry about what other people think of them. As long as you are happy with what you see in the mirror, that's all that matters. I'm 60 years old and I've always been comfortable with my appearance, so I don't care what anyone else says.

Women need to be seen as viable and worthy beyond a certain age and not only valued for their youthful appearance. My goodness, how about giving merit to their intelligence for one 🤔 or their witty and sparkly personality or the many contributions and sacrifices they make for their families 🤔 This video is the product of a superficial world. In other more "primitive" cultures, aging is a sign of earned respect and wisdom. We need to learn from this. Shame on our superficial culture for only recognizing outward beauty as if it's the only meaningful way to measure a woman's worth and importance while starving her inner beauty, her spirit, her wisdom and beautiful heart completely ignoring and overlooking the more important contributions she makes in this world.
But she's upset that people aren't gawking at her anymore or fawning over pictures of this 45 year old woman naked(though covering her parts) or in a bikini. There's many older women that are incredibly well known and admired for their intelligence and accomplishments. This one just wants to continue being admired for her looks like when she was 20. She didn't talk about anything other than looks, I'm not sure she even has a husband or family. So what should she be admired for?
Paulina married Ric Ocasek of The Cars in 1989. He left his wife of seventeen years for her but this marriage eventually fizzled out, becoming a marriage in name only. They had two sons together. Paulina was involved with a man named Ed Soloman for some years before Ric died in 2019. French men might appreciate her for the knowledge and wisdom she's acquired, but Idk why she's so surprised that men are naturally attracted to pretty young women and have been throughout history, all over the world. She either can't or won't accept that the torch gets passed to a younger generation and that her own sons will also favor younger women no matter how hard she tries to reprogram this impulse inherent in their DNA.
People think I'm weird because I'm not flattered when I get carded or mistaken for a college student at 41. For me it's not a compliment because I don't put my self worth or values in looking young. I'm proud of the years I've survived on this earth and the experiences I have under my belt. It's annoying when people look at me and just assume I'm young and don't know anything.
When she was married to Ric, and living in the Boston area, I sold her cosmetics, skin care, and fragrance many times over the years. At any age she is breathtakingly beautiful in person, and you could not meet a kinder, more delightful, and altogether lovely personality than Paulina.
She still looks insanely good. My wife got nice and chubby over our 16 yrs but I think she looks cute with the extra fluff. This lady just needs a man who makes her feel good about herself.
Because plastic surgeons no matter how 'good' they can't make a woman like her, God is the Creator and He knows. They did the same thing to Helena Christensen putting her down for a dress. People are dumb. She is right. She is right. She is right.
Poor Paulina, at 15 she would make millions for the exhausting job of being a model, but now that she's old she's just like everyone else, an average person.
I think older women are beautiful. The ones with the face-lifts and pouted lips look kind of desperate. If I’m invisible I make my presence noticed. I have tons of life experience. And don’t ever call me grandma. That’s about the stupidest thing you can say to a wise woman. It says more about you than about me. One day you’ll be my age. If you’re lucky.
I have always thought Paulina was exquisite and lovely. I still do. I absolutely love the way she doesn't dye her hair - it makes her Earth-goddess like. Its a bit ridiculous how soooo many people dye their hair. It doesn't make you look younger - it just looks like your hair is dyed.
I mean I think that’s exactly what she’s saying. She grew up as a supermodel. That’s a world most of us will never understand. At least she realizes it
Men have to live up to standards set by women to even get into a relationship… We accept reality. The opposite happens and the patriarchy is the issue?
there's an inherent biological value ascribed to the ability to have children. it's wired deeply into us, and is the reason for the invisibility and loss of attraction once a person crosses that threshold. men happen to be able to have children much later in life than women,. it's that biology which drives the double standard.
She's a beautiful woman but thus is what happens when you base your entire identity on being a super model. It also doesn't help that the entire generation has shifted and nobody recognizes her as a celebrity. I'm 38, and I had no idea who she was when she was on top model.
Most men have been invisible their entire lives. Theres nothing wrong with her looks or her age. Whats wrong is her mindset. She wants the attention she had in her 20’s. Thats just not possible without the insane surgery and makeup designed to do that drastically.
Not just age. I have a disease that causes me to be unable to process sugers, fats and really anything that would cause weight gain. I'm 23 now and and within 2 years I am 150lbs heavier than I was before (105lbs). I used to model, do ballet, dance and hike. That speed of weight gain affects your knees, your skin loosens, you get bright red angry stretch marks. I used to light up a room, everywhere I went people would strike a conversation or smile, hold the door for me. Now I'm only 23 and I feel my glory days have already passed, I'm completely invisible. People walk into the store or out and look back and let the door slam in my face. I say hello or smile and people look In disgust. Due to inflammation in my stomach I cannot wear anything that isn't 4x bigger in size. It's so depressing, I tried ending my life many times and now I just use substances to hope I eventually die that way because this illness cannot be managed, cured or even helped. I used to be a very humble caring person, I cared for the elderly, for special children and animals since I was 16, volunteering and for work. Now I never leave my house, if I'm invisible then what's the point of it anymore.
Now you know what 99% of men go through even when they're young and at their peak physically. You know those same men that you wouldn't look at twice when you were in your 20s?
BE YOURSELF! Everyone Else Is Taken! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I feel for ya, I'm a plus size woman also, since childhood. One word - hypothyroidism

Now you know what 99% of men go through even when they're young and at their peak physically. You know those same men that you wouldn't look at twice when you were in your 20s?
