    Are you still going to give away your lowering springs?

    • @VehicleEvolution
      @VehicleEvolution  4 года назад +4

      Most likely, I want to ride on the coilovers for a little bit to make sure there aren’t any issues before I do though.

    Did you ever end up replacing the factory spring perch with a second lower control arm that deletes the perch? I plan on doing that.

    Great video, Quick question, Do you think that the rear coilovers reduce the space because they are larger than stock shock? or is this setup still smaller than the stock allowing more room for a larger rear tire? BTW, I Like the new wheel setup you have.

    • @VehicleEvolution
      @VehicleEvolution  4 года назад +1

      Thanks! The full rear coilover doesn’t add that much space. It’s a little wider because of the spring but nothing that should hurt the Fitment of wider wheels.

    Honestly might switch from my PSM Pro Coilovers to this. They are wayyy to stiff for street use. The Pro Coilovers are also true coilovers and fitment in my rear is extremely tight. Literally there is a gap that is about two credit cards thick. Not sure if I want to revert back to separate shock and spring setup.
    Also my front are tight was well, but probably 3-4mm between each other.

      Have you gotten these? I would definitely recommend against these. Silvers also makes a true rear and I've been contemplating switch from riaction over to them.

    • @BrewMaiden
      @BrewMaiden 2 года назад

      @@mariostevenquijivix5752 I've had some slight issues with rubbing from these tbh not of fan of the sway bar collar that they have as opposed of having it apart of the actual body of the coilovers. I never got to try the Silvers but that's probably what I would've gone with instead of the Reaction coils.

      No. The Riaction coilovers have an adjustable collar for the endlinks which allows for the oem ones to be used.

    I installed this today on my Genesis and I can hear clunking noise on the rear ones I adjusted the preload because they where kinda loose when I got them but I still hear clunking noises any idea why it could be?

    • @Meekmillan
      @Meekmillan 3 года назад +2

      Could be binding of the rear sway bar endlink or the rear upper control arm hitting the frame. Especially the latter if you went really low.
      But this comment is pretty old, did you ever find the cause?

    • @BrewMaiden
      @BrewMaiden 2 года назад

      I've been having the same clunking, I've been seeing others on his other video also having this exact issue but i don't think anyone has figured it out.

    • @nonamebleach
      @nonamebleach 5 месяцев назад

      Clunk can be a few things:
      Top hats (but you can rule this out because these come with new solid ones).
      Swaybar end links. And if you are running any coilovers you should be running white line swaybar end links. This is a MUST.
      The noise can also be binding from the coil when you turn. This is normal and you can just ignore it.

      Been running them for almost two years now. One of the best things I’ve done for the car. It’s not like the springs are gone. They’re just part of the strut assembly like the should be. Way better handling.

      You could but you’d be dragging over every little bump or dip in the road. Slamming on coilovers just isn’t practical. Air is going to be better for that
