- It's been nearly 4 years since my first "Main Mouse and Mousepad" video where I claimed the finalmouse ul2 and hien soft were the best combo for me with fingertip grip. My opinions now are shockingly similar, but there are far more options available today

I dont want people to think I'm saying the ULX isn't a big leap from the UL2, over a 10 gram weight decrease and 4k wireless vs 500hz wired is a massive difference.

have you tried the freefall svbv+ pad? it's a square size and has a cloth surface with a hard silicone base and i think it provides a unique "harder than mid" softness option, similar to what i would assume the wraith blade x also is
Artisan is already the meta but the type 99 releasing and being my preferred surface speed is most likely gonna be the reason I finally drop my egg emc. It just has more colors, plush differences, and sizing options than other brands. The fact they do so many different surfaces in so many different combinations is unmatched
Regarding your old Artisan try deep cleaning it with dishwashing soap and a dull straight edge. Even my 90% IPA cleans only so much and only the surface gets cleaned.
Watching this as my hand rests atop my new ULX Pro Lion on a fresh Hien Soft was truly shocking

I do think we have reached a ceiling when it comes to mice shape and mousepads. With mice, there is always going to be the progression to lighter and lighter mice but I don't see how mousepads are going to improve by even 5% in the next few years. It seems that there is a poron-based mousepad for any surface you want.

I’m using viper v2 pro. I kinda bored with it. I was planning to get viper v3 pro but it did not come out yet in my country. I found beast x around 170 dolars. And finalmouse ulx lion around 220 dolars. Beast x max is not available. Don’t know what to do actually. Kinda pricey but can afford finalmouse. What should i do? Fingertip btw
I love my sunset and cape town. They deserve good refreshing, and need an air 58 to join them. I missed out on the starlights and may miss out on the ulx platform. I have two Hien clones and always wanted to try Artisan. You were the one who got me looking into peripherals, but with how poor I am and currently homeless, all my stuff has been actual hand-me-downs in the past. Regardless, I think I love the finalmouse shape it just fits my hand naturally. Could use a better hump for claw grip, but I can manage 💯
I haven't seen a comparison between Zero Mid and Hien Soft. It seems good for a product that is rarely discussed, I am using Zero mid and it's nice.
I really like my LG Saturn Pro/Viper V3 Pro combo but i am tempted to try a Hien

My best mouse was a Deathadder V2 Pro. Never played better but that mouse will probably never be resurrected.

The best mousepad I have used is the Artisan Hayate I bought in 2012, the problem is the surface wore out very quickly. When I revisited Artisan Otsu 10 years later I was actually surprised and disappointed that this was its successor.

I feel like the EM-C is up there with Artisan quality. It's pretty damn fantastic after having a Zero and the EM-C.
It's a tier 1 control pad no doubt, but only 1 foam hardness/just trying to match artisan's specs is what I'm saying, nobody is trying to outdo them

Glad I can use my OP1we on an EGG mousepad that I love too because otherwise the sensor would be useless, game over, etc.

In the last decade of my mouse collecting illness, for me, no one has topped the SteelSeries Rival (the OG one)..I've got big hands, and I'm a tilted claw gripper, and nothings topped the Rivals shape for that..such a shame that SS has gone to shit these days, total shadow of their former self.
All I want is a revamped lightweight Rival with top specs and wireless, or hell, even an 8k wired I would settle for..please SteelSeries, wake the fuck up!

@@liron8163 I have a DAV3 Pro Faker atm, it's my current main..it's a tad small, and it's quite strait and narrow for an ergo, if you can be bothered, have a look at the size and shape difference on ELO between it and a Rival 300, the Rival 300 is probably the largest and most tilted ergo ever made, which suits my wide hands and I naturally tilt my mouse grip on an almost 45 degree angle, not sure why I do it (perhaps due to having broken my wrist in the past).

They aren't a company with the production capabilities of logitech/razer. They sell more units than almost every small brand (wlmouse, ninjutso, endgame, gwolves) there is just much more demand. I think they have plans for some type of in stock model tho

Either way, as long as ur making content I'll be happy! Maybe you could release your own peripherals sooner or later other than a mouse! I'd love an all zebra setup.
