    Loved the shot of the deer. I think those creek areas are so beautiful. Especially this time of the year. So green and beautiful. Horseshoe is definitely good luck. That’s the way to sleep in on a backpacking trip 👍🏻👍🏻. Love the song choices 😁

    Beautiful place! I liked your shelter setup. Using the inner of a tent with the top. Very ventilated but still sheltered from the weather.

      It was super fun. So many nice spots out here. One could go for years and not camp in the same spot twice!

    Great looking camp. I can’t do poison ivey unless I have soap to wash off the oils. Even then it’s iffy. I usually end having to get a cortisone shot.

    Did the centennial trail last year. I actually overnighted in the horse camp with permission from the host. Having access to a shower is nice sometimes especially when hiking through poison ivy.

    Beautiful surroundings, nice chilled vibe to this one, loving the tunes as always. Horseshoe is definitely good luck, Tara should paint it and hang it up in her yard 🐎👍.
    Keep the trips coming Tim, always a pleasure to see you get out and about.
    All the best

    I’ve hiked through/by that area several times but never spent any time there. Will have to give it a try sometime! Thanks Tim. I have many asking me to take them/guide them again this fall in the Badlands NP! I’ll be out again this fall at least once.

    For that swim hike just get the Klymit LWD (Light Weight Dingy) I have one and it’s like a pound and packs down to like Nalgene bottle size and packs into a sack that doubles as the pump sack! Look into it! Oh! That fucking trail is epic!? I love water crossings! lol

    If I ever have a biographical movie produced about my unimportant life, I'm going to insist that it be narrated in a French voiceover spoken by Tim.

    Is there bears in the park?

    • @BackpackingwithBuckley
      @BackpackingwithBuckley  2 месяца назад +1

      Randomly a black bead will cruise through but there is no established bear population here. I don't worry about them at all.
