In sunlight and a little stressed, my girl's color starts to change to an orangey/salmon-pink. She's also a little weird with her eating reflex in that she chomps instead of reaches with her tongue.
I always get excited when people embark on breeding projects for my favorite species, especially if they're a little less popular in the hobby. I love the false chameleons. Like I hope one day to see Peter's Banded Skinks being bred in captivity. That would be stinkin rad.
@@jinelbrito8737 hope though that it'll work. Never kept any Reptiles before. Definitely need to breed Snails too though because it seems that the Babies often only or at least mostly eat Snails. Will still take a While though. Need to get a Apartment first and it will still take a While to do that😕 A bit weird that they aren't very popular due to the Fact that they are so much like Chameleons but way easier to keep
I love my CFC's. I have a male about a year old and a female about 6 months old. I lucked out and have a friend that breeds them. I paid a hundred each.
Hello there, does your friend have an online store or anything like that? I'm on the lookout for a CFC (in a year's time; still doing research and planning for enclosure). Thank you.

Mine seems to be a shy eater at the moment, also they have a snout to vent length of 7inches, as adults are quite large
Love those. Hope to not only keep but also breed them someday

Trying to convince my daughter to choose this over a chameleon. These guys are cool
Certainly easier to take care of
Hope you were able to convince her because Chameleons are a bit hard to take Care of
