i do see that you've started to blend more footage and media really well with your presentation. i'm enjoying that. it definitely keeps me watching more steadily, and i like that you are collabo-ing with your friends to mutually benefit. what a lovely beast!
i see this as a snake i'd like to get, or at least a species of beauty snake, because i love those old world rats. i do see that there is a consensus almost about their defensivenes, but i'm inclined to not take that as a hard fact. i buy for companionship and bond-building... and i figure if i handle them every day even just a little bit since they are babies. they are much more likely to be more docile, and at least non-defensive. it may just be my stubbornness though! this is one for the future, because as you mentioned, i'd need to make sure i have enough space for them, and for their enrichment... enough crawl space as well as some arboreal fixtures. that may make handling the snake daily hard too. i think of the potential difficulty of taking the snake out when they are adults and hugging those big branches.
either way, thanks for spotlighting this beauty! keep up the great work!

Awesome info! These are one of my favs. One day I hope to make the jump into a blue beauty with a massive enclosure for climbing. But right now all my time foes to the boys (my boas) lol. Thanks for the vid!

Great video, would love to see a video on the prairie kingsnake (lampropeltis calligaster calligaster) they are another species you don’t see get talked about allot but are said to make a great alternative for the corn snake

They’re definitely different. It’s probably why I have so many different species. Keeps me on my toes even if these aren’t one of them
