Every time I see this crew (Our Crew) I get a smile from ear to ear. I can't help but think that that was Oda's only intention. Thank you Oda for giving this story to the world.
Taz is just like Sanji in terms of looks, personality, and even the way he kicks.He has also improved his cooking skills for the role.He perfectly portrays Sanji's kindness, his laughs, and how he can instantly switch into swrious mode, as was shown in their try not to laugh short.
I kind of feel the opposite . He’s the crew member that seems least authentic to me . Zoro is reserved , but he’s still loving and kind and involved . Mackenyu doesn’t seem to smile or ever really get excited (besides the pass off of the hat to Inaki from Mayumi) . I really hope I’m proven wrong , but right now.. it doesn’t feel like Zoro at all

I’ve watched the trailer many times already and it’s spot on, they did a good job. The casting is great, the world design etc. It feels like One Piece. I was kinda worried about Shanks but seeing him from another angle here changed my mind, he looks good. Dope pictures too lol
Barely anyone is hating on the cast on the contrary, their the biggest reason people have hope in this project. The hate stems from this being in the eyes of many yet another manga/anime to live action adaptation something that’s notoriously ended in failure countless times especially from Netflix. Personally though, I think think this has potential.

After this most recent trailer, I’m very hyped for this show. Been a One Piece fan for 15 years and this cast really does seem special and fit for the task of bringing it to life. Also Emily is hot.
Taz jumping to the water to keep Iñaki company seems like the type of caring stuff Sanji would reluctantly do Mackenyu looking effortlessly cool while doing nothing is such a Zoro-like thing Jacob and Iñaki drawing stuff in their masks is literally Usopp and Luffy. Like, I adore this cast so much I don't even care that much about the final product of the series anymore 😁
I think Zoro is going to steal the show. From the trailers alone he seems to have the coolest fights and best one liners. Pumped for this. I’m still on the thriller bark arc in the anime too!

Oda said the conception of this was in the works for 7 years. I think they started to record in 2020-2022 which delayed stuff
