He not only perfectly depicted the Strawhat Crew as a pirate crew and close knit found-family, and he not only went out and found perfect look-alikes to take on the roles of the Strawhats, but he made sure to find perfect look-alikes who also genuinely act and behave like their characters, which resulted in all of them naturally having good chemistry. Oda is a God! Trust in Oda's vision! This live-action is going to be awesome!
Exactly. I think most anime, movies and neftlix series miss it. Chemistry!!! They just put nice or cool looking characters together and taaa daaa. Well, One Piece is my favorite anime and every characters has amazing relationships with each other. Nami Usopp, Zoro Chopper, Luffy Robin, Usopp Sanji, Zoro Nami, Law Luffy, etc etc. Also there are trios and more haha ❤

Just finished to watch the series. Very nice and good intepretation of the characters. I enjoyed it a lot, it brings joy and good energy! I remember that founding out in the anime that Luffy's grandpa was a marine was a mindblowing scene. It came out very late in the seasons. But I guess it makes sense to speed up the story in a live action series.
