⚠️ RUNNING TIPS 👍

  • Arms’ swing is really important for a good running economy 😂
•❌ Don’t push the elbows laterally and outside
•✅ Elbows need to move next to the body, back and forth. This movement allows to push stronger and don’t loose efficiency.
Especially when I am tired, this is something I find hard to do sometimes. It’s one of my weakness and I need to work a lot on it too 😊
To improve, my advice is to use elastic bands to simulate running arms swing movement and improve arms strength! 💪

@@NEGAN69 Look at the point of her elbows. In the proper position, her arms and elbows move from in front of the runner to the rear of the runner. In the proper position, you are able to run with a towel in between your armpit, without it falling out. That is because your armpit stays close to your body, but moves front to back. The improper arm placement, her arms and elbows move from her sides outward to the space left and right of her torso. This position will look more like the chicken dance because your arms open wide away from your body. So remember elbow front to back, never side to side ( they should move in the direction you are moving in). Hope this helps!

The first one is for long distance, but it's also effective that you try to circling your hands to reduce cramps as for my experience. The 2nd one was for sprint I think, but I'm not an elite runner tho' just a casual one. But I ran 10k for about 50mins. If you're trying to go fast, it's also effective to bend your chest forward.

The first arm placement is the proper way for distance running where you can engage your core more effectively and the second position is the proper arm placement for sprinting or when a distance runner needs to ‘kick’ at the end of a run more effectively engaging the pec muscles…watch videos of distance runners vs sprinter to see this more clearly

Having the correct form and big arms (as my coaches call it) is really important for runners. It helps increase your stride length. And your arms tell you legs what to do. Swing them socket to pocket. From your shoulder all the way back to your back pocket. A lot of runners definitely forget this.🏃‍♀️🏃💪 And it really does help!

You have to hit that drum in case it doesn’t let you.
Step 1: hit the drum in the front
Step 2: always walk 30 steps if you need to walk (inquires speed walking)
Step 3: always keep away from anything dangerous when running
Step 4: never go near a fire or something burning because it could get in your eyes so you can’t see or it might not let you breath
Step 5: when finished with running or while running never ever ever breath in and out of your mouth. Always breath in from your nose and out your mouth.
That’s all the steps you have to do when running! Comment down below if you have anymore ideas for me to comment
