    I’m not so sure how many people would be happy for me to put a long line around the mooring and swing on it. I see the dynamics of what you explain completely, I’m just not so sure how many people would be happy for me to wrap a long line around their mooring warp, but it’s a nice technique ❤️

    Excellent explanation of the effect of opposition rudder directed thrust. Not sure this would help a twin rudder configuration but I certainly will try this out. Thank you.

      yes also works on twin rudders, but as a lack of prop wash the stern will be pressed a little bit more to the pier, cause the stern is not pushed away, but it works. I always use a bit more thrust, when haveing twin rudders.

    Den ein oder anderen Trick hätte ich beim Ablegen in porec bei 20kn auch gebrauchen können.
    Ging dann auch so aber nur halb so elegant 🤣.
    Wie heißt der simulator denn sie nutzen?
