I can't wait. I work at Universal Hollywood and I see that land clearing every day and I just get super excited. You know I'll be trying to open that ride if I can. I just hope that it lives up to the hype and that Creative is going to be taking a huge step in theming that thing. I'm most excited for its interaction eith the Starway though. I love when coasters go above paths and stuff like that. When I used to work at Revolution at Magic Mountain, one of my favorite parts of the ride was going over the footpath by the bottom station of Orient Express. That's also why I love Tatsu and West Coast Racers. I just think there's something so cool about traveling over a path. Now throw in the Starway where you can go over, under, around, beside... and you'll just have one amazing experience.
One feature I hope they add is the ability to choose onboard audio featured in the F&F movies. I would choose "Here We Go" (Hard Rock Sofa) from F6, or "Blast Off" (David Guetta & Kaz James) from F7
I am getting way more excited for the coaster now that it's actually getting built. This coaster does really have the opportunity to become the best in CA and it seems like Universal is making a lot of smart decisions with their ride design overall at their parks. Hopefully this is successful and will give them a bit of juice to add new thrill attractions at Uni Hollywood that aren't just a new video to watch in a theater or on the tram.
I am hopeful for the possibility that we will get two dark ride segments, the fact that it’s fast and furious hopefully there is one before the first launch and one before we come back into the station. I think that if they have the dark ride segments it could potentially overthrow Velocicoaster for me
Intamin is one of the few manufacturers focusing on innovating for the future, this is the future, controlled/programmed spinning is going to be very popular from now on.
I made a full recreation of Hollywood Drift with fully functioning Multi-Dimensional cars. I would be really interested in seeing your reaction to what the possible spinning rotation would look like
As of now, I still think Velocicoaster is still the better ride, because the theming on-ride for that is visually stunning. However, this looks like it could maybe have an even better layout with the terrain interaction, and I think the most intriguing thing about this ride is the controlled spinning, because this could basically be an extreme spinner if they pull it off, And we all know how good those are.
So, the cars will act a bit like the ones on Gringotts it sounds like, but on a more intense layout. Maybe a different car design altogether, too. But the idea sounds the same without the screens and show scenes.
Reminds me of Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind at Epcot sounds like an Omni-Coaster where the trains having a controlled spin to them so it doesn’t invoke motion sickness or spinning nausea but just imagine a ride like Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind but made to feel like Intamin multi-launch coaster and on top of that playing off the terrain I mean I don’t know how anyone could not be excited for this roller coaster bc let’s be honest any roller coaster Intamin or RMC touch or build from the ground up turns to gold!!!
I’m interested to see if the coaster being open will be a priority or filming on the lot?? If they’re shooting shows/movies will they close the ride to accommodate that? We’ll see
Costco had a $180 11 month season pass, and the only reason I did not buy it is because this coaster. You have to use it the first time by May 1st, and I am on the fence about going next year. I also want to see if Magic Mountain or Knott's Berry Farm gets a new ride for 2025.
Not a fan of the trains. For a park that needs a coaster they're making sure it will be down alot. Instead of going with the multi launcher like the one florida lol.

Another masterpiece by Intamin. Cf needs to pay attention and get over themselves or they are going to get left on the past
Let them, let their hubris make them fall.

Intamin with program spinning, sounds like an amazing ride that will be maintenance hell
Yes
That hill you speak of is STEEP too! Drove right by it in July
The Fast and Furious Coaster needs to run 3-4 trains the same capacity as velocicoaster
I feel this means it will be more Uncharted than Velocicoaster.

It will be very popular- I just hope it works well!
Sweet! Idk if your looking for video ideas but I’d love to see your opinion on sky rush vs intimidator 305
I think the coaster will be open by summer 2024
That's very early, but it would be cool if it did! I'm thinking more late 24 to early 2025

I think it’s bogus, if you move near an amusement park, that’s on you, not the park.

So sad I'll likely never see another Intamin at Cedar Point.
I know...
This sounds amazing!
Makes me sick to think we likely will never see another Intamin built at Cedar Point.

I like it this way instead, immersive and unique
Just wish this coaster wasn't in Cali as that state is a plague
I enjoy living here myself. Lifelong resident from birth. 🤷🏻♂️
@@gregg5958me too!
we dont have alot of good coasters out here
Only thing I hate about this coaster is the inversions, I was hoping that it contains no inversions
Its a thrilling coaster, no coaster in Hollywood has inversions.. yet..
