Nice Jamie, My research in Belize show its has the best organic food, I cant eat the food in the US anymore. Im looking forward to having Belizian food, Soon. Thanks Jamie..
Here because I visited Belize for an Architectural Study tour, twas vast & beautiful. Come try some Jamaica food too though nice lady , it was interesting to visit Belize , interesting that they did not mix the rice w/ the beans ( it was served separate. Loved the beach parks & promenade along the sea wall.😎🙏🏾 Climbed the Maya temple ruin too that was epic!
OMG! I’ve learned something learned. I didn’t think Belize speaks English. I’ve thought they speak Spanish only. I didn’t know my country has a lot languages❤❤❤❤
Hi Jamie, I initially started watching your videos as I was investigating moving to Barbados for a year. Then when you moved back to Belize, I became quite intrigued with Belize. I would be moving with a 13 and 14 year old . Any feedback in terms of location, safety etc. would be appreciated.
Hi Jamie, I'm curious about differences in culture (eastern vs western coasts) and also if you could expand on your plans for tiny home and how you came to that decision. Thanks for sharing as always!
Nice video, you're making me love Belize more and more. Can I come over to study my Masters degree in Belize or Barbados which one is better since you have lived in both countries
Hi I hope you are well, thanks for the introduction I am also looking forward to your follow up video with more information I would like to ask you if possible to speak on the different regions that many ex-pats would choose to retire in Belize and the cost associated with it I know you have other things you would like to speak about I understand if you can't enjoy your trip home be safe GW
I find most people retire in the capital, Belmopan or on one of the Cayes, Caye Caulker or San Pedro. Life in these places are more laid back and safe. The cayes can be a bit pricey but Belmopan is very affordable.
@@jamierocke Hi thanks I hope you and those you care about are all doing well. I started researching Belmopan, but I am concerned with the lack of beach access, not so much for me but for tourist that I am hoping to attract, I was hoping to visit but with Covid everything is uncertain, I am quite familiar with Barbados, as I have been there many times and my brother-in-law's family are from there, however, I am concerned with the cost of living in Barbados which looks like it can be much more expensive than your country, I would like to have an opportunity to talk with you or be able to communicate via email but I respect if it is not possible, I would be responsible for the cost of setting up the business so cost is a major factor since it may take longer to see a profit if any is possible, funding the business and living expenses will be much more in Barbados, than in Belize, however, let me know what you think best regards GW
@G.Williams If you live in the Cayes or Placencia or other places with “Beach Access” in Belize that are typically tourist areas, they will be very expensive and not spending too much seems like a concern for you. You can easily live in Belmopan or Burrell Boom or a more quieter area of Belize that’s more affordable and then visit the cayes or the beach areas when you need that kind of environment. You’ll always have access to the entire country. But like I always say, this is just my two cents. Good luck with your decision.
@@jamierocke Thanks I will do some more research on those areas, I am not so concerned about spending money I am trying to find the best area that will be more cost-productive for me I am self-funding and don't want to run the business from where I live so its important to try and gather as much information as possible, I may also have to employ someone to staff the office full time when I am out of the country but I thank you for sharing your opinions with me best regards GW
Belize is similar to Jamaica! Actually, during the latter days of slavery when Belize became a British settlement, most slaves were brought over from Jamaica and Bermuda and not directly from Africa. So that influenced the culture here.
@@jamierocke I was pleasantly surprised. At first when I saw you I thought you were a Jamaican living in Belize. Thanks for your reply Sister. I'll ask our people in Jamaica and here in Canada to check our your channel and, add Belize on my list of travel destinations. God Bless.

Do Belize people come from a mixtures of of blacks and Mexicans ?
Belize is a melting pot of Mayans, Africans, Indians, Mennonites, and more.
