bought a 1950 house, everything was old and rusted especially bath tub. i tried it out and i gotta say the scourge block turned my sink, tub, toilet, etc almost back to 100% brand new and i bought it at 99 cents only stores. thank u so much.
Yeah! Glad it helped you!
I just discovered this yesterday and it worked perfectly. Best product to clean toilet bowl.
You are a natural for the camera Ashley! Your dialog and speaking abilities are very down to earth blending right in with your Green Life : ) Thanks for the video!
Thanks for your kind words! I'm going into my 7th year on youtube and it's safe to say I've definently come a long way since my earlier videos, but I hope to keep improving and putting more content out for years to come. Thanks again!
Right on... we had a guest bathroom that was not used often. The toilet had hard water stains that would not go away. We too used this product, it worked great. Our fear was scratch marking, but that didn't happen. :) thumbs up!
+elchewtoy Thanks for sharing how it helped you! ( :
+elchewtoy I would fear for scratching as well. What a great tip!
Great tip!! I've been using this exact product for years and it works better than anything else I have tried. Dare I say it's fun to clean my toilet?!?
+Jennifer King He he, I kinda like it too!
i'll definitely try this. Thanks for the tip green lady!
Thank you so much for this video! I went out & bought them today. It worked wonders. I'm a happy camper....
Glad to hear it, I love them too!
Yep.used one last night.worked like a charm! I purchased mine from home depot for about $2.50.
+MsMARGARITA1994 Glad to hear it!
Thank you I just ordered this on amazon for my icky stained toilet I'll be so happy when it's white again!
Yeah! Hope it helps you! So glad to have this in my cleaning tool belt!
It's really effective, but it does cause small scratches in the enamel of the toilet, making it more prone to collecting hard water stains faster than it normally would. :)
It''s no problem if you're willing to use the stone in the future. It's more of a problem if you use it for a period of time and then want to use some acidic solution to remove the calcium deposits later. You need more of the solution than you would otherwise need.
I haven't noticed any scratching...
This is so timely! My parents arrive in 2 days and I was just wondering about how to deal with the toilet stains in the downstairs bathroom! Thank you! :)
+mellibee100 Glad it helped you!
This really works! Thank you for the suggestion you saved me a lot of money
Glad to hear it!
My husband is going to be so happy now!!!!
+Michelle Keller LOL, happy to help! ( :
We will be ordering on Amazon soon!! :) Oh the things that make us happy! haha clean toilets!! :)
Hi Ashley. I liked this cleaning video and would love to see more about green cleaning tips! Specifically, I'd love to know how you keep your classroom clean at work without harsh chemicals. As a fellow teacher, I'd love to know what you use to get rid of the nasty germs from the little kiddos in your space. Obviously I'm sure your class has custodial staff too, but most teachers I know also spend a great deal of their time cleaning their space in addition to that.
+StickItOutTillTheEnd Thanks, I'm working on a video to do green cleaning like homemade green cleaners compared to store bought which I will eventually get posted. We also have something in my classroom called an "ionator" I can't recall the exact name of it now but it just uses plain water and "ionates" it and that supposedly helps get rid of germs and bacteria, no chemicals needed. That's about all I do right now though. ( :
Great idea. I'll have to try that because nothing else works.
+Gary Smith Hope it works for you!
Thanks! I was in despair! I'm trying it soon.
Hope it can help! ( :
I noticed the squatty potty. I forget if you have done a video about it already? If not, you need to!! I don't use the actual name brand "squatty potty" I just use a fold up white stool. It has worked wonders for me! :)
+Baking Girl Oh yes, I put a link to it in the description box and maybe in the video too. ( :
It's so funny you're posting this video today right after I have tried really hard to get some nasty stains off of my own toilet and failed spectacularly. I've tried everything from coke to vinegar to baking soda.
So this tip is kinda my last hope. Can't wait to give it a try. Thanks a lot! ;-)
+Cubelixa Hope it works for you!
Thank you for making this video. My family’s toilet has rust stains. I hope this works to remove them.
Hope it helps!
Oh my..I would still wear gloves.
Gloves aren't green!
Use CLR gel and brush, and pumice, and iron out tablet......
thanks for the tip!! I wish I knew about this 2 years ago when we had horrible toilet bowl stains haha
+Anna Rogov♡ LOL, me too! ( :
I would have never thought of this :) thanks!
+Megan Mae Me either! You're welcome! ( :
Wow that worked really well!
+Chemical Detox ( :
This totally worked. thanks!
+John McWade You're welcome!
Yes yes! Thank you for promoting a little elbow grease! And this handy little tool! I will definitely look for these stones... actually I have one in the shower for my feet, I may just give it a try in the toilet but I'm guessing it might not be the right kind. :)
+Megan F I'm not sure how different they are..haven't used one for my feet before, anyone else try this? Oh yes, I love a little elbow grease over chemicals!
yes it works, def elbow grease needed
Yep!
You can get the pumice stones at Walmart for a couple bucks.
Thanks, Ashley. Just what I was looking for.
You bet! Glad you found it helpful!

+Laura Salazar You're welcome!
oh my!! thank you so much for posting this video!! I literally had the same idea about replacing the toilet hahaha! anyway it worked great for me and also worked great on my shower floor. Thanks so very much!!
LOL! Glad I'm not the only one!
Awesome!! Thank you! Got the same problem drives me nutttts!!
Hope it can help you!
This one is better. It came with a sturdy handle, no need to wear gloves any more. www.amazon.com/Cleaning-Shinymod-Remover-Kitchen-Household/dp/B01FYTMJKU/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1474273510&sr=8-23&keywords=cleaning+stone
This works fantastic!
+GodsSteph Glad to hear it! Just got done getting a spot out in my bathtub too, so if you have stubborn spots there it can help as well. ( :
I bought it at Walmart for $1.00
I was just wondering who would buy this from a place like Amazon.
I love your hair , did you put any color if yes please share whit as😄
Just a little highlights...not sure the color. My stylist just picks it every time-lol
You can get the pumice stone at any Home Depot.
This is true!
They sell them at Walmart as well.
Is this the same pumice you use on your feet?
Thanks if Works!
LOL hope it does!
***** Lol I was supposed to say it did work! Haha Thanks Tho
Omg that's like magic! Also I'm so intrigued by that small potty did you buy it or was it already there and do you have to switch it out once they get bigger?
+kaleidoscopicmind5 My husband works in construction and a plumber friend mentioned it to him that they had used it and were all done with it, so he passed it on to us. Eventually when they are older we'll switch it out to a regular toilet. ( :
So what do you do with the stone between uses? How do you disinfect it and store it? Dump vinegar on it, wait for it to dry, and keep it with your cleaners? Or does it only last through one cleaning session?
I just let it air dry and store it in an open container.
can i use any pumice stone?
Thanks. I would wear gloves though. That stuff looks nasty!
Thanks for sharing
+Latifah Davis You bet!
Thank you ..so helpful!!!!
+Katye Proctor Freelon You're welcome!
how many times can we use this stone before it starts to lose its effectiveness?
do you have a tip on what to use to get rid of shower mold?
+Joanne Hart That's my next project to tackle....I'll let you know what works when I figure it out! ( ;
+AshleysGreenLife how about hydrogen peroxide? We use that a lot in our bathroom! It's great!
+AshleysGreenLife I'd be interested in a green way to clean shower drains of hair and other build up. My drain does not have a removable plug & I've been putting off buying drain-o. Great tip for scrubbing toilets, can definitely use that. :)
Great video thanks for sharing
You're welcome!
The best one that I buy comes with a handle
I Absolutely LOVE this idea I just wish I saw this before I tried to clean it by scraping with a razor 🙄 Had a pumice stone used on my feet before and it Absolutely worked like a charm . Kinda brilliant also didn't realize there was another Ashley Greene in the world 😄 of course she spells her name with an extra E being that she is a Hollywood starlet 🤪 jk but thanks again for making thos video.
lol glad you found it helpful!
My toilet needs cleaned mainly in the hole where the water come in from. It is about 1/3 closed off with lime or hard water deposit. Will this work? It looks too big for the hole.
It may be a bit large for that...but you could try to chisel it down a bit so it's more pointy at the tip.
Man. I want to get a pumice stone right now.
( : Happy cleaning!
I actually got a pumice stone from dollar store that's for the feet. And it worked like magic. I am not embarrassed to invite people over anymore. Thank you so much.
I purchased a toilet that was double glassed and not no stains!!
Nice!
That a home Depot thing?
I found mine on amazon.
Wear gloves ... these things are only good for / porcelain , do not use this on a plastic tub it will scratch it but it doesn't scratch porcelain.
Thanks after everything I've watched on RUclips,, I'm going to go get me a stone.
Awesome!
I just use bleach and flush the toilet bowl before I use it.
You must have changed your hair color because when you're scrubbing the toilet your hair was dark LOL just an observation
Just bought one at the 99 Cent store.
score!
