Excellent work! I've got one of these and am looking into getting a new belt for it. Do you know where the speed adjustment screw is? I can't locate it.

I must admit I've never seen someone using a boiling process to remove the glaze from a pinch roller. That's a first. 😲
Usually when the roller becomes hard and shiny and/or pitted and barrel-shaped, it's sometimes quicker and easier to just replace it with a brand new one, rather than waste time cleaning an old/worn part that's probably gone well beyond its use-by date and won't be very reliable. 😎
I suppose you can get away with it here, as it's only a budget model boombox and the roller didn't look too bad in it (though you did replace the REC/PB head and rod antenna). Keeping it simple. 👍

Thanks for the comment, but it's not a cooking machine, it's an ultrasonic bath. It does a good job of removing all the dirt. The problem is that the new rollers are made in China and the quality is just not high. There was a case where the roller softened after one year. Therefore, if it is possible to keep the original roller, I always try to do so. Thank you again 😉
