I am always wary whenever I get one of these boomboxes that someone else has done work on before me - I never know what they did to it or whether they made it worse. Wrong parts, bad soldering etc. I spend more time undoing another person's mistakes than fixing the original fault(s).
    * I shall look forward to part 2 of your restore/repair video. See how this one turns out. 😎

Hello. Thank you for responding. I'm wondering what kind of glue you used to glue the loose contact on the regulator? The video shows that in addition to the glue, you used a white powder, what is it? I've tried different brands of glue, but I haven't been able to glue the broken contact together. I hope your advice will help me.

Thank you for your question. It's not glue. It's a two-component acrylic. It is used by stomatologists. It is very good for restoring broken plastic parts of the cassette mechanism and many other places. I have even moulded the toothpicks (шестирёнки). I use two-component silicone for mould making. Good luck with your work 😊

Greetings. Tell me what kind of adhesive was used when repairing the tone control?

Thank you for your question. If I remember correctly, the problem is in the upper control panel. There are two-way contact paths. On the side where the details are, they are as if painted on. Very often there is no contact. Or a problem with "painted" resistors. For those who repair old technic, I think you will understand what I am talking about 🙂 Just breaking their contact. Good luck with your repairs 😊
