i do kinda like how the vast majority of swappers do still have abilities that would have translated as the shapeshifters, quite a few swap force have an attack coming from the head
game 7 was probably scrapped due to the complications of if a meta to formed around certain characters couldn't be purchased anymore because their figures were no longer being produced. the game would've had a extremely short shelf life (pun not intended lol) not to mention, not having a story mode probably drops a massive part of the audience, which they would need to sell the toys also having to rebalance all 175 existing skylanders for a multiplayer setting sounds like a pain, tbh
Is The Trap Team game the one that put the Franchise at risk, what with obtaining all those traps and all being quite expensive. However, Trap Team was revered as one of the best. But which Skylanders Game killed it for the franchise? And not in a good way?

if you're talking about the file i think you mean theres a version that works in racing mode since apparently the security works differently but it crashes any other part of the game

@@BumbleBlaster for me the story would be the ancients appear to be collecting pieces of a weapon scattered throughout time and the skylanders must travel through time after them. they would have levels that go back to the times of the first six games and explain the magics that made the skylanders disappear in every game intro. so it would bring back the gimmicks of the past six games while having their own. the gimmick for me would be something like swapforce and imaginatores combined. aside from new characters there would also be characters/monsters that have blank elements and their only level up by giving them something they combined with that not only makes them stronger but also puts them into a element. for example like they first combine with something for life like a rose would make them a life type, and if they have multiple element things fused then their element they have the most of would be their strongest element. which is why I would call the gimmick fusion. what do you think of that.

Skylanders Shapeshifters feels like a combination of Swap Force and Imaginators. I like the idea. Perhaps it could be incorporated into an indie game.
