I was in the kindergarten when this album came out and i have their shirt but have no clue what shirt it was until i become their fans in highschool and realized that iI've had their t-shirts since i was kindergarten.
I was 2 when this album came out lmao, but our close family friends' son who was a teen always babysat me from 2-6 and this album was very frequently played, always loved the ride patterns the rev would do when I was young (still do lmao)
I remember when this came out! I saw a preview with "Unholy Confessions" playing on a monitor in my local Target! My brother bought Sounding The Seventh Trumpet not long after its reissue on Hopeless in like 2001, and that's how I got into the band. He eventually moved away from them, and I kept listening. My first taste of the "New" A7X came from the original recording of Second Heartbeat on the Hopelessly Devoted To You, Vol. 4 in 2002, and I was hooked! I absolutely LOVED this album when it came out, and I bought it right around release in 2003. City Of Evil was also a much-anticipated follow-up in 2005, and my ex-wife and I took a caravan road trip with her brother and his high school buddies to see them at the Rave in Milwaukee with Coheed And Cambria in 2006, and it was an AMAZING SHOW! Love this band, one of my all-time favorites! Good guitar work, dude!
you went old school with this one ChainMan! 🤘🤘 oh and i'd rather serve under robots because they could potentially look human! Aliens could be terrifying and i can't imagine how great a life that would be! even if it is just a big hunk of metal walking around robots would be far less scary.
Robots, they will try to make everything as equal, efficient and perfect as possible.. And as said by the commentor Gergo Retvari, if they try to uprise, JUST DROP WATER...
@@robertgarza8481 Because it is in D standard with the D dropped to C. So Drop D would be E Drop D, but not called that because E standard is more common
2:24 those vocals are the Rev. You can definitely hear Mr. Shadows struggling a bit with some of the harsher vocals that he does in the album tho for sure 😂

This was the first riff I learned on guitar when I was in high school
god I'm old
If it makes you feel better, I’m learning it in highschool right now.

Yes bro the ride patterns is what made me give this song a second chance when I first heard it. It’s glorious

I was 9 when this album came out. I didn't start listening to avenged sevenfold till 2007
I wasn't even born when this album came out

I think i missed something, why there is so many A7X songs in a short period like that ?
the description says in drop d tuning, isnt this song in drop c?
you are correct!
Why do people even put d drop c if it’s just drop c kinda new to music theory so I find that super confusing atm

@@GigglebunsUV thanks for clearing that up makes so much sense now

Where do you get your shirts?? They’re pretty cool. The skynet one and metroid one and now a Elden ring one

@@tabascosauce3398 thank you!
I too am 20 years old in case you were wondering👍
Robots. If they become unbearable I'll just use my water bucket.
Do you think the terminator would lose to a water bucket?
@@Chainbrain for him i'd use a water cannon
Bro tell me this intro doesn't sound like Stairway to Heaven but a little electrified
Could be!
I'm still waiting you to play god hates us from nightmare album bro, i begging you, you'll not regret it
I played it last night, you'll have to wait lmao
@@Chainbrain finally, my comment replies by ChainGates, oh btw, your video uploaded at 11 PM on my time, nice timing, just telling you ☝️🤣
Yeay👍👍👍👍👍🙏

Robots or Aliens… how about Cats instead?
Same thing as Aliens
hahahaha
This album came out 4 days before I turned 2, lol.
First?
Maybe the last?
@@Chainbrain bwaaaahahahah
Might as well call this channel "guy plays Avenged Sevenfold songs"
sure if you want to ignore all my rocksmith tutorials and 1000's of other song play throughs
Yeah I subscribed for A7X, will be a sad day when he runs out of A7X songs to post

No they're not, that's a common misconception. Jimmy didn't do any studio vocals until Self Titled.
@@VoidSixx no shot bro, I refuse to believe that's mr shadows 😂
@@OneRageyBoii I do see where people get confused, but if you listen closely you can tell it's Matt.
