It's about a man trying to talk to his mother after he was betrayed by a friend who shot him.

Now He waits for death to descend upon him and free him from his misery, so his mother does'nt have to see him like this.
That's the kind of lyrics that made me absolutely love Avenged Savenfold, this is trully one of the most under rated song from this under rated album imo.
