- The one skill that is valuable than a college degree
I grew up in a society where degree and school are worshipped. When children get admission to the university, their parents are happy. The children themselves become proud and arrogant because it’s a big deal. When a child graduates from the university, his mother cherishes that graduation photograph than her gold and his father sit down on the round table with his friends and brag about the fact that his child has finished the university.
It’s a big deal, but when I was growing up, I started asking myself what education should look like. Should we think that a university degree is an indication that someone is educated? Should we worship the P.HD holders and the professors of our world because they are the most educated?
I have a different idea and that is; education should be about what you know, and how you use what you know to get what you want out of life. In other words, the end result of education shouldn’t be the degrees but the skill because it’s your skills that make way for you.
And that’s the reason why in this video, I’m going to be sharing with you what I consider the most valuable skill in the world. I honestly think that this skill is far more valuable than any college degree.

Let me share with you my science background real QUICK, the mind stops developing at the tender age of 24 years old and that's why the marketing people of the world stop paying attention to you after the after of 24 years. I didn't get to the University until I was 24 years old, if these kids are not at the University DEVELOPING their brain then WHERE WILL they be?! Get your education, I have my bachelor's and started my Masters but didn't finish because of finances, 2,000 a class and it was coming out of pocket! So I stopped. Some employers won't hire you without a bachelor's degree. Education is important and helps you meet other individuals like yourself. Don't go to the University in your own town, get out and stretch your mind. I graduated from NAU (go lumberjacks!) With my bachelor's and I was living and raised in Tucson. The best developmental years of my life!

I am the typical "others example" of one that succed on university and now is a failure.... been really bad as profesional because always trying to do things at high standards and lack of social skills, which after ten years of failures have teach me something: teaching negotiation is a must, but it means nothing if you don't have a really good self steem... also luck is horribly important because you can't achieve both things without someone to inherit to you (by means of genes, trainning, contacts, or funding).... education improves your chances... but there is no secret formula unfortunately... you can't become successful alone starting from zero without a luck strike

The negative side of this are con men. Personally, I don't believe in manipulating people (ie. pathos and ethos). This is why I will never be a true leader. Unfortunately, most people WANT to be conned because critical thinking and research are too hard. They want someone to look up to in some way and feel good, even if it's a lie. Humanity survives on hope, but that can be twisted for bad purposes.
