New Tutorial for Darlene Square Neck Dress SEWING PATTERN 🤗 Here is the link if you want to check it out! www.etsy.com/uk/listing/839712555/darlene-square-neck-puff-sleeves-dress
Love this ! I’ve noticed you’ve stopped using an overlocker- is this to make these more accessible to the average person who probably only has a sewing machine? I really appreciate it ! 💝
Hello Karolina! I love your pattern and I agree is simple and beautiful. However, I think the printed instructions are missing some steps that you have here, that makes it a bit confusing.. is it possible that I just got a wrong version of the pattern ?
Darlene, sorry to ask again, but is there a tutorial that shows the process of your modeling? because I have a lot of interest in doing something like this for myself, but I have doubts about how to make the bottom of the dress, :) i´m from brazil hahaha
No problem, my name is Karolina btw🤗 Sewing pattern for this dress is called Darlene and I'm selling it on Etsy here www.etsy.com/uk/listing/839712555/darlene-square-neck-puff-sleeves-dress
Please please please, can you make an introductory video to sewing? I love your designs and I want to follow your tutorial but I'm so lost! Please help!
@@tintofmint The pattern calls for 2m of 10mm elastic. Which should I use? That's a bit confusing to me if you didn't use what you call for in the pattern, lol.
I’m new here, and you videos are amazing :) Could you please explain what you are doing with the inner edges of the sleeves? I can see you turned it wrong side out then fold or rolled it somehow, but couldn’t figure out what exactly you’re doing:) Thank you so much!!
Hello sorry to ask this but would adding close captions/subtitles be possible? 😅 I am hard of hearing and am having some difficulty understanding what you are saying. I would really like to try this pattern, looks just like a shorter version of a dress I saw for $200
You can turn on auto subtitles on the video or check out the blog post I made with photos and descriptions for cases just like that 😉 tintofmint.com/darlene-dress/
Hi!! Absolutely lovely dress. What would you say is the skill level necessary to make this garment? As an an absolute beginner, could I do it? Or is it a more intermediate pattern? Thank you!
Hello! I'm a beginner at sewing and I was wondering what the benefits are to doing a french seam versus flipping the fabric inside out and sewing it that way. Sorry, I don't know the name of that stitch 😥😥
I used printed cotton fabric from Abakhan. I checked their website and unfortunately that fabric is gone. You can use any fabric you want really for this shape cotton, linen, poly, crepe etc.
I used printed cotton fabric from Abakhan. I checked their website and beige colour is out of stock unfortunately, but they have it in pink www.abakhan.co.uk/floral-print-tumbled-cotton-viscose-fabric-21-pink-beige-wine-150cm.html
Do you have any way to size up your patterns for plus sizes, I love your videos and your patterns but I am disappointed by the lack of inclusion your patterns have. It would be very cool to provide larger patterns or an adjustable pattern
Size 6-16 is a standard size pack. You can perhaps go a size or two up by following the pattern grading, but I don't specialize in plus size patterns, sorry x

Muito fofo ! Obrigada pela legenda em português.
Espero que façam sentido! :)
I love this dress😍 Can i use a cut and sew machine instead of a normal one?
Yes you can, but you'll still need a normal sewing machine for some things such as to sew the elastic to the sleeve etc. :)
@@tintofmint thanks, your tutorials are amazing! I hope someday I'll be able to create fantastic clothes like yours!

Please please please, can you make an introductory video to sewing? I love your designs and I want to follow your tutorial but I'm so lost! Please help!
I want to keep this channel consistent with only sew along tutorials. I'm sure there are hundreds of great videos already on YT ☺️
Bought the pattern, can't wait to try it! I do not have an overlocker tho, do you have any suggestions for the sleeve? :)
Perhaps you could sew the elastic to the sleeve edge and then fold it and stitch it again if it makes sense? 🤗😅
@@tintofmint I'll try it!! Thank you 🥰
Your videos and posters are all aesthetic! May I know what app do you use to edit them?
Thank you! :) I use Adobe Cloud programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Rush and others.
Thank you! ❤️ More power to you and to your channel!!
@@jeremiah9717 Thank you dear ♥️♥️
love it!! how many yards of fabric did u use in total?
To make this dress I used 150cm of fabric that's 150cm wide.
Hi! How much elastic do I have to buy and what width? I just bought the pattern and I already can’t wait to start
Hi, I used approx. 3m of elastic and it was 6mm wide. How exciting! Happy sewing :)

I would say it's a beginner pattern. If you watched the whole video and every step made sense to you I don't see why you wouldn't be able to make it 🧡
