Although it's basic but there are lot of things we don't know
Thanks for this tutorial

Amazing video very well explained.
Thank you!
Thanks Rasha.👌🏻
Anytime!
Thanks for the video. I need to export my cad file to pdf format with visual layers so I can turn off/on them individually when it is needed, however when I export it in pdf format, all the visual layers come in one layer but when I export it only with wire frames view they are individual. can you please help me with this? Many thanks
Good job
Thanks! 😊
Superb chanel bro #veenainterior
Thanks!
Thank you for the tutorial, I have a quick question. Is it possible to export a clearer PDF using Relaistic View Style?
I haven't tried that but would like to you know your results once you do!
Hi there, can you please explain why we should export CAD layers seperately and have all of them under a complete floor plan in photoshop (ain't we just have all the seperate layers on top of each other)?
Yes, we are exporting separate CAD layers and exporting them to Photoshop. You can also export the complete floor plan to save time if you want.
Hi! Thanks for the tutorial it was very helpful.
I use AutoCAD Architecture and I have a problem of printing into pdf especially when I have to show transparency of some of the Hatches that I use as shadows in the elevations. After setting up the layout (dwg to pdf) and adjusting the scale I do ' Ctrl + P ' and my PC starts freezing and it takes a lot of time to make me a PDF file and when the PDF is ready it is always so so heavy (like 40 MB even though its a simple elevation with 5 transparent hatches and the quality is normal '100' :') ). Is there a way to fix it? :'(
If I export to PDF as you did in the tutorial it shows the hatches in the raster and not in vectors.
Hmmmm... I have always had trouble with Autocad hatching. Have you tried exporting the hatch separately and seeing if that is the problem?
@@SurvivingArchitecture Hi, thank you very much for the answer. Yes, I have tried it and it is better than befor at least. :)
👏👏👏👍🙋
❤️❤️❤️
Hiii, this is always necessary to export one layer by one ? Because during my 1st year I just learned to export my drawing with all the layers on it . What is make the difference ? Thank you for all your amazing works :)
in the later stage of editing your plan, you'll find that you need the layers individually to make specific edits on them. for example if you need to change the lineweight of wall only, you'll struggle selecting the wall lines on photoshop bcs it has merged with all other lines
Hi, i import my layers and when i open them in photoshop they come in disorder not on top of each other 😕 !!!please help!!!!
I too facing the same problem, plzz somebody help..
I love you
does anyone know how to link AutoCAD to adobe? There is a way I know it, but I just don't know how to do it. Want to adjust layers in cad and have them update within adobe.
i have a problem ! , it doesnot open all layers in photoshop and didnot merge them ! just load every layer separtely and not all of them :(
Hi! do you have a tip for putting the title block in a way that is actually centered in the sheet? idk if i made myself understood:/ btw i love your videos!!! ❤️
Is that using AutoCad?
@@SurvivingArchitecture Yes! I see that your title block looks like actually centered in the sheet, so I wanted to know, how do you do it?
@@SurvivingArchitecture i have also same question
Can I compose a sheet with multiple drawings in autocad and then export the whole sheet to photoshop for rendering?
Of course! Its something I do all the time
Rasha: To scale, click this simple button on the bottom right and select 1:100.
Me: Z-Sc-100/100xp
Damn i am so uneducated
Hahaha well now you know!
no, that's actually very common, when u draw on meters or other units aside from mm those buttons doesn´t work, you have to "fix" them to your units
Thanks for the tip. Didn't know that as I use mm most times!
That's an amazing plan BTW lol
Thank you!
What if we plot the drawings in cad rather than doing layout and then opening it in Photoshop?!
Yes you can do that as well!
Please made full Photoshope tutorial for architecture student .
Like a course
It's very good us and your channel..
There's plenty on the channel already!
@@SurvivingArchitecture I can't find any true architecture ...
@@SurvivingArchitecture .many Photoshope courses are Available on RUclips but they their design process are much different from architectural design .
Or architect need
First 🙌
Thank you!!!
does anyone have a problem when you convert the draw into a pdf, some part are missiing and gone oncluding things like block ans stuff ?
Did you manage to resolve this?
how to export all layers together? I have a lot of layers that takes time!
Export with all the layers turned on
Hi .this is a question for anyone doing architecture. I'm going to college next year and I love construction and sketching all aspects of construction. I want to choose a career that I can balance my sporting life with . If I'm in college next year do you think based on your own experience that you could spend about 3 hours of for sport twice a week or three times a week thanks
No, I don't think I would be able to spend that much time, but, don't trust me anyway hahah, I'm not the most organized student either. I'm sure you can do it if you set to.
I think there would definitely be a time crunch for managing both. That said I do have a friend who is into football teams for last 3 years but she is the most organised and disciplined person in our college and sports always gets second priority due to time constraints. Being an architecture student, managing your own basic health itself is quite a neverending ambitious task.. So maybe talk to seniors from the college you wish to apply and take in their views or schedule. Maybe that can help. Good luck!
I am sure you can do it! You need it for your own sanity and peace of mind
Add another layer and remove the autodesk labels at 8:26. It won't work on a new layer unless you unlocked the drawing layer. Any comments? Has anyone else has the same issue?
Can you not paint over it on a new layer?
@@SurvivingArchitecture I managed to remove it. I want to learn your technique
I am exporting the files but the white background is still there how do I get rid of that ? there is something I´m missing.
When you add it to Photoshop, is the white background still there?
My AutoCAD pdf is imported with a white background at the beginning itself. Using Photoshop CC. I want to make it transparent background as shown in your video. How should I do that? please help
Use the magic wand tool to select the background and then delete
@@SurvivingArchitecture the plan is big and complex. Will have to do for every section. Is there any other way?
Right click with the magic wand tool > colour range > select white and then delete
Or export without the background
@@SurvivingArchitecture ohkay. Thankyou soo much. You're always a savouir!
What year are you in ?
My final year as an undergraduate
i saw a csgo icon haha, an unexpected one. do you actually play it?
Yes twice daily minimum lol
Is it a residence project? 😶
Yes.
We are CSGO 💕 players
