“Colored people” was used during segregation. 1-No, I’m saying that the first time it was commonly/mainstreamed used was during MLK era (even then he said citizens of color) and again, poc is less offensive because it addresses all people of color but doesn’t reference racism, segregation, etc.
2- No, you must be ignorant on hair. Black people can naturally have straight hair even if they are fully African and can also have blond hair even if fully African.
3- I know... that’s why the shampoo scandal doesn’t just affect Africans.

As a POC that needs a specific shampoo for my hair I just bring it with many whenever I’m traveling. I’ve traveled with other POC and they always bring they’re own shampoo and hair care products. This is just ridiculous. Everyone knows you only use the hotel shampoo if you don’t need to care about what you use on your hair.
