+Leonidas Diamandopoulos, You have to excuse us for not being able to translate the lyric. These are pure poetry of Persian poet Hafez from 14 century. The language is very complicated and full of mystery and hidden meaning. I am afraid many Persian speakers of today are not able to understand the poetry exactley. Thanks for your interest.

Not referring necessarily to language as words...so although the language is Persian, not all Persians understand irfan and to translate words would not do justice to meaning, which is embedded in metaphor and the “culture” of mystical orientation.... So there r those who undererstand the words but can’t make sense of them and then others, who ‘feel’ the meaning but don’t fully understand the words. Then there are those who are adept at both and can drink deeply... I am not so lucky!
