Almost everyone who has played Snowrunner has complained about the ridiculous arm flailing in the in-cab view.
It was the same in mudrunner, I can't believe they didn't fix that

Basically you just have to start your own community. Put it out on Reddit that you are looking for nice calm individuals who enjoy casual gameplay. Or start a private facebook group.
I have but we are avoiding epic store so no game for us until the developer will find his brain :)

AWD is on when the text is lit up green, you where disabling AWD when you got into the mud
Multiplayer for this game is definitely more enjoyable then singleplayer, so please keep 'em coming!
Been playing for last 8 hrs mainly in MP. One slight issue where my mate lost ALL his vehicles and had to start again when the server crashed. But apart from that having great fun.
Grabbed the first off-road truck, 81k after selling all the vehicles that you come across in the tutorial. Fantastic truck. Once you get all terrain tyres on it, she just goes through everything. Black river pretty much done, just starting out on the dam now.

Traffic would do so much for this game. More immersion the better.
I wouldn't say traffic but maybe the occasional work truck or maybe a local doing some offroading.
maybe a few trucks just driving around
Even just the occasional Sheriff's car ect.
It's a disaster area. The bridges are broken, there's rockslides blocking roads and water on the roads. Maybe people just can't drive around. And no need to worry about stupid AI drivers crashing into you haha.
The Michigan setting seems to be a locked down state of emergency after a catastrophic flood. The Alaska setting is a remote oil drilling operation. The Russian setting is set in a logging forest miles away from civilisation. I don't think it was make sense to have traffic roaming around in these contexts. In fact I feel it would break the immersion as having no one around increases the feeling of being stranded when you get up to your axles in mud in the middle of nowhere.
+Squirrel 🤣🤣 i love how you were wondering why the manual loading box was red and didnt notice you have a crane to load the cargo but nowhere to put it on your truck

Love this game already, cant imagine what the map mods or DLC's would be like, I used to love goofing around with this Range Rover mod i had on Mudrunner, that was cool.

And I love it. This makes mudrunner look like half baked version of the game. This is what mudrunner should always be. Without the steering wheel shuffling. 😜
Squirrel doesn't have the ability to pick up cargo with no bed on the truck hahahaha
I like it... "I'm stuck on a rock..." Totally ignoring the fact that his trailer is also stuck on the inconveniently placed GMC...
fantastic looking game...love the physics, and graphics. I see some things that ATS, and ETS could put into the game, and make it look more realistic.

I really wish I hadn’t played the game before I watched this, I was in the same boat as you guys but sitting through it knowing all the little things that would help you was torture😂
The trailer was a mock-trailer to Death Stranding as a joke. Snowrunner won't have dialogue and story.

Use your scout car to pull the farmers truck out the swamp, with the winch attached, the trailer you “found” you can just unload it, their and then, I do believe, you need to pick up goods to set the mission start “on”?
I just recently started playing this game no one I know is playing it. This would be fun having multiple friends on it
I just realized you can like, pack one set of metal planks on the trailer and then manually load another set on top of the first one. It’s a bit precarious but doable. Then when you get to the place, you just unload your first set of cargo, then go to the functions, click on “pack cargo” and then you can unload that set. Saves a ton of time if you forget to bring an extra trailer.
at 17:16 his bumper bends from scraping against the barrier. thats actually kinda impressive

You have to unpack the load from the trailer before you can take it off with a crane Also if you take on a contract and the goods you need to deliver are one a Trailer you gave discovered the game will mark that trailer on your map with a green marker as a tip.
I was honestly expecting this to be the same as Mudrunner but with snow instead of mud. But it really isn't, it has so much stuff Mudrunner didn't have.
Go to the menu, click on manage party and turn on “allow people to winch to my truck” or something like that in the top right corner.
so hope they put this on steam, will be a lot of fun i'm sure
u can get the scout on the farm with the stock truck u was in.. go in the fence and make a hard left till u get to the high side then turn right and work your way to the truck and winch it out going the same way u came in. did it in mine

I have been playing this game also, very fun.. i unlocked a hummer h2 in Alaska that makes life so much easier for scouting... damn thing climbs mountains!!!
31:00 I did not know you could even lift that with the conventional crane. I had just assumed you needed the heavy duty crane to load metal planks. Good to know as manual loading feels like cheating.
The number of things that you can do in this game and the number of hours that go flying while playing it...wow....so many obstacles that you have and the little things that you have to do in the beginning with your weak trucks , just to finally clear a portion of a road and make your life easier and finally complete a contract...grinding at its finest. It's not bad, it's just ...wow...wasn't expecting this..for example in Mudrunner, it took me..let's say 6 hours to complete a big map with 6 lumber mills (it was a mod map) but with this game...I will probably need 6 months to do every single task and contract.
You need to put your truck into the yellow part and do all that for deliveries and you need a flatbed to carry things
when you hinge up a large trailer ( or any trailer), you can pack/unpack cargo, so you can pick it up with a crane. So there was no need to pull that huge trailer :). BTW you can also have a flatbed with the crane ( so you can also carry things) ;).
All he had to do was winch on to the truck and he would of been out of the pit.. It's funny to watch the differences on how people play mud runner. fun to watch

Love playing all spintires but this one is so much deeper with content but I almost enjoy the same watching others play co op

I know hindsight is 20/20 but as someone that have played this game for hundreds of hours by now, this is hard to watch. :) Still going to watch it all though as I really enjoy your content.

For the crane, don't try to lift the whole arm. Use X and Y to lift the rope. It won't topple your truck this way.

i got both the stuck trucks out using your chevy, mud tires and suspension lift. it took ages but did it.

what i used was the DLC jeep if you buy the 60 insted of the 40 then the jeep is what i used no issues with the jeep never got stuck
The storyline of the Michigan map is that there was a flood. People weren't driving into rivers and fields, their cars were carried there by the water I presume.
Do all the towers and grab all the upgrades in the wild to pretty much max the Chevy than me later. Makes maps a stich, also all on black water
I think you could use your crane to transfer 2 concrete blocks from the big trailer to the back of the blue truck just like you did with the wooden planks
It turns out you can buy what is probably the best scout jeep and heavy truck at the start. The region locks are ridiculous, you just jump to Russia, buy and store them, then come back. I've got an offroad workhorse, a scout jeep with fat tires, and an 8x8 heavy for heavy cargo and towing/rescue. I'm on the second Michigan map

Should have put the trailer on the crane truck. Crane truck is heavier because of the crane and would think more power as well.

squirl just saying this early in one of the corners is a scout 800 its in the top left corner get the watch tower there first and you will see it
Paul, you need to pay more attention to the screen prompts & you couldn't winch your mate because you were trying to attach him as a trailer because that's what it said in the side menu!
Attach trailer & not attach winch :-)
task have to be activated also, you have to go to the start location of the specific task. took me awhile to understand that.

You can winch to each other but you need to do it in the player select and go and click on the permission that says "allow other people to attach to your truck" then you can winch to each other but you all need to allow permission

It would be cool if they put a horror spin on this game with everything abandoned, isolated and dark. Like some Cthulhuesque travesty occurred.
@squirrel when ever you are in mud or or river crossing put it in low which lessen the possibility of getting stuck

You need a bed or 5th wheel hitch for loads on the crane truck
Then when your tryna climb a hill top switch it to high and if you ever find your self in a situation where u can’t get thru the mud try reverse out of it then attack it by throwing it in high and when u hit the mud throw it to low

If your in a difficult spot to move and your almost stuck change it into low gear it gets you through easier

My only hesitation with buying this game is that I probably won't have any friends to play co-op with. I enjoyed both Spintires and Mudrunner a lot, but after a while doing all the tasks by yourself gets a little lonely.
